The comedic value of this episode was gold and yet it still managed to hit all the dramatic story lines. Fiona dealing with her emotions is something I can relate to as the oldest child who had to look out for his siblings and adding love on top of that. The first thing you want is someone you love to help you help yourself. She looks at herself because for once she doesn't recognize the girl in the mirror.
I wish Ian's love line would develop more with Mickey. I did love that Carl got a lot more to say and do and that you see he's growing into the psychopath he is at 10. I loved Mandy & Lip together it was genius. Poor Debbie is transitioning from pre-teen to teen and thats a hard phase.
Overall this episode should be nominated.
Nancy Pimental and Alex Borstein are two of my favorite comedic writers, them writing back to back really works for me
