And, in the End, The Love...

This episode puts aside the workings of the lab an produces a really nice police drama. It allows the plot to supercede the science, depending on some great twists, bad bad guys, and the personalities and qualities of he regular cast. Catherine and DB go underground, using the resources of street people to assist them after Catherine is wounded. There is a scene with body bags that is reminiscent of The Count of Monte Cristo. There is also an emotional conclusion which, if you've been watching regularly, comes as no surprise.

Nick looks for Catherine and Russell in the office and Sara updates him. She says that Russell is in a crime scene in a motel. Nick receives a phone call reporting shots nearby Catherine's house, and he goes with Sara and find that her house was cleaned. They also find Russell's SUV with many gunshots and blood on the backseat, and also his and Catherine's phones on the grass. Meanwhile, Russell and Catherine seek shelter in a motel in the room of Catherine's friend Miss Kitty, and they succeed to call Dr. Robbins that gives an emergency treatment to Catherine. Then he asks Dr. Robbins to tell Brass that they are hidden in the room. But when Brass, the LVPD and the CSI arrives at the lace, Russell and Catherine are not there.

"Willows in the Wind" is another great episode of "CSI" and apparently the departure of Marg Helgenberger from the series. The episode is excellent, with many plot points and a surprising revelation. The screenplay surprises and the conclusion is absolutely non-expected. My vote is nine.

Am re-watching old episodes of CSI, cause I liked it that much, and forgot about how Catherine left. I missed her throughout the rest of the series. I think she was a major part of this series success. When Warrick died it tore my heart out too but Marg Helgenberger was the glue that held it all together.

Decent show. Glad Catherine is finally gone

At least the show should have had her move. We know this show is 90 percent fiction, but having an ex stripper, dad was if not a mobster, one who monsters were afraid of. Whose dad was a suspect in many murders... Etc... Etc. That would disqualify her, well maybe not nowadays. But anyway she is welllllllll past the age a Fbi takes people. No older than 37 unless a veteran. She was not a veteran and at the minimum, (we know for a fact she was 16 at some point in the 70s, so if she was 16 in 79, she would be 49 years old.... At the minimum.) which is wayyyyyyyyy too old to go into the fbi. Should have had her be in the csi for the US DA office or something. But anyways, good riddance to someone who was sooooo judgmental to every single suspect, many who were innocent, when her own private life and daughter was a complete hot mess.
