My favourite episode!

This episode is a KILLER! Dee is funny as hell, Dennis as psychotic as ever, the rest of the gang their usual selves all turning on each other as soon as the chance arises, and the ending fantastic! This was brilliant!

On a Sunny Scale I've got to give this a full 10

At the start of episode Dee is drunk, eating, smoking, messy hair, no makeup, not bathing and basically near suicide. The gang says, 'Dee, you know what you look like' Dee drunkingly replies, 'I KNOW, A BIRD, I GET IT, I LOOK LIKE A BIRD!! What's hilarious (and what I love about 'It's Always Sunny')the Gang is completely oblivious to as why Dee is near suicide from lack of esteem? The Gang IS the cause of Dee's Pain! The gang has never once even treated her like a human or given her an iota of respect! The Best part of this episode is Kaitlin Olson's 'Dee Reynolds' performance whether she's doing stand-up jokes drunk on stage or all of the crazy sound effects she's making. Why hasn't she or this show Won an Emmy by now?? Why is it always low-brow humourless (imho) shows like 'Raymond' that wins? Anyway, Kaitlin (as Dee) in this show is excellent and shows all of her acting chops. The turnaround and Ending is hilarious, unexpected and just horrible!! I loved it! On a side note, Kaitlin Olson is very trim, nice figure, but slightly 'lanky'. I bet in real life when she was a teen in school everyone called her 'A Bird' out of cruelty. Boy, is she a Swan Now!! Mac is indeed a lucky Man! Charlie's real life wife 'The Waitress' ain't too bad either! It amazes me that 4 actors in a show that hate each other are married with children off-set. Might be therapeutic of some sorts?

The gang back in full effect

Warning: Spoilers
In this highly anticipated kick off of season nine The gang (excluding Dennis)plays a prank on Dee who is severely depressed. They succeed in making her think she is a up and coming comedian who is increasing in popularity. The episode comes to a climax when she believes that she is going to do her stand up routine on the Conan O' Brian show in L.A. only to end up back at Paddy's with everyone wearing the Jokes on Dee shirts. Every one is in on the joke except for Dennis. Who is almost as shocked as Dee is by the gangs prank. If you haven't seen this yet do so as I haven't quite spoiled everything for ya. Its always sunny in Philadelphia.

Well they got me too

It was a perfect trash twins episode, it really spoke volumes about who they both are, both Dee and Dennis. His obsession with control and his fear of being left behind really well showcased. I literally cried at the begging tho because yeah, Dee is depressed like that and the show addressed it, even if only for a moment. The end maybe wasn't my favourite, but it was very in the spirit of this show, expect the unexpected. I know we're never actually getting any comfort in this show, any apologies, any of that, because that's who these people are. So it is a bitter sweet episode for sure. But I liked that the guys actually cared that Dee is at her lowest and did something about it. They care, in their weird way, even if they were partly responsible. But that's just the gang for you, self destructive, chaotic, throwing each other under the bus all the time, and codependent till the end.
