- Jon and the wildlings travel south of the Wall. Talisa tells Robb that she's pregnant. Arya runs away from the Brotherhood. Daenerys arrives at Yunkai. Jaime leaves Brienne behind at Harrenhal.
- Robb and his entourage are traveling to the Freys but wet weather has delayed them. Talisa has big news for him. Jon Snow, Ygritte and the others have crossed into the south and are headed to Castle Black. Margaery has good advice for Sansa who dreads the thought of having to marry Tyrion. For his part, Tyrion thinks she's too young. Shae is also unhappy with Tyrion's upcoming marriage and she wants them to run away. Tywin Lannister makes sure King Joffrey knows exactly who is on charge. Daenerys and her army arrive at Yunkai, the Yellow City. Ser Jorah recommends that they simply bypass the walled city as conquering it serves no useful purpose. She disagrees but the slavers of Yunkai refuse to free all of their slaves. Melissandre arrives in King's Landing with Gendry and tells him of his ancestry. Arya meanwhile runs off on her own and into the arms of an enemy. - Jon Snow, Ygritte and the survivors of the wildling party head to Castle Black. Daenery is decided to take the city of Yunkai and she meets one of the wise masters of Yunkai to offer his and the other masters' lives if they surrender to her. Arya flees from the camp of the Brotherhood but she is caught by The Hound. Theon is released by two gorgeous women that seduce him; out of the blue, his torturer returns and tells that he will castrate him. - Delayed by weather on the way to Frey, Robb enjoys distracting sex with Talisa, who reveals expecting his child. - In the North, Jojen tells Bran they must not stop at Castle Black, but travel beyond the Wall to find the Three-eyed Raven; Osha warns them about the White Walkers. Jon and Ygritte's relationship deepens, angering jealous Wildling, Orell. Theon's torturer castrates him. Robb learns Talisa is pregnant. Arya escapes the Brotherhood, only to be captured by Sandor. Melisandre tells Gendry that his father was King Robert. Shae warns Tyrion that their relationship will end once he marries Sansa. Tywin and Joffrey discuss Daenerys; Tywin dismisses her as a potential threat. Daenerys reaches Yunkai and declares war on the city. Roose Bolton leaves Harrenhal for Edmure Tully's wedding while Jaime bids Brienne farewell as he departs for King's Landing. On the road, Jaime learns Locke has refused Brienne's father's ransom. He returns to Harrenhal to find Brienne in a pit fighting a bear. He saves her and they depart to King's Landing together.
- In the North, Jojen tells Bran they must go beyond the Wall to find the raven, to Osha's horror. Bran says that they have to find the raven as it has been coming to his dreams ever since he fell from the tower. Osha tells the story when her man turned into the un-dead back when she was behind the walls. She says she promised to get Bran to the Castle Black, but no further.
Jon and Ygritte's relationship deepens, making fellow Wildling Orell (Mackenzie Crook) angry. Orell confronts Jon and says that Ygritte is only in love with Jon for the moment, as it suits her. She knows how things are, but Jon doesn't and which is why he will never hold on to her. Orell propositions Ygritte for himself. But she says that she loves Jon. The wild-ling attack party gathers across the wall and marches towards Castle Black. Mance had told them that he will light the biggest fire the North has ever seen as a signal to mount the attack. Jon warns Ygritte that the wild-ling's invasion has failed 6 times in the last 1000 yrs and is bound to fail again (every boy in the North is taught this growing up). But Ygritte says Mance is different.

Shae tells Tyrion that she will not continue their relationship once he marries Sansa. Shae still wants Tyrion to leave King's Landing and go with her to a quaint location, where they can live out their life in peace. But Tyrion refuses again. Shae knows she is Tyrion's whore and she will be nothing when he is tired of having sex with her. Margaery tells Sansa to make the best of her situation. Tyrion is not the worst Lannister and plus he has never mis-treated Sansa in any way. Meanwhile Bronn advises Tyrion to marry Stark and keep having sex with Shae. His son with Sansa will be the Lord of Winterfell one day. Tywin counsels Joffrey and discusses Daenerys with the former dismissing the danger she might pose. He says dragons have been dead and gone for over 300 yrs now. Joffrey is pissed with Tywin that he has taken complete control over the City's affairs (he is even holding the small council meetings in his offices, rather than in the Small Council chamber. To attend a small council meeting, Joffrey would now have to go to Tywin), but feels powerless to say something very strongly to him
Daenerys reaches the city of Yunkai and declares war on them. The Yunkai has 200,000 slaves and her plan is to secure their release to build her forces even further before she marches on King's Landing. She brow beats the Yunkai ambassador into giving her gifts of Gold and still threatens him with annihilation unless the Yunkai set their slaves free.
Roose Bolton departs Harrenhal for Edmure's wedding while Jaime says farewell to Brienne and departs for King's Landing (he promises Brienne that he will return the Stark girls to their mother). On the road, he finds out (from Maester Qyburn, who treated Jaime's cut & infected hand) (Qyburn was removed from his formal office for conducting experiments on dying men, without their permission. But Qyburn says his insights on diseases has helped him save many lives) that Locke refused Brienne's father's ransom (her father offered 300 gold dragons for her safe return, but Locke believes that her father owns sapphire mines and thus is being cheated.. This was Jaime's lie to Locke). Jaime returns to Harrenhal to find Brienne in a pit fighting a bear. He leaps in and saves Brienne and departs once more, this time with her.
