Incredible

Warning: Spoilers
Going to the theater to see the premier, I came in with a completely open mind. The theater was nice and cozy, there was a great reception, and the director and composer being there to answer questions was an amazing experience.

The actual film, which was a short short film (short film with no dialogue), was moving. The film was based off of the Picasso painting of "The Old Guitarist" while adding a personal twist on the painting, following a love story.

Spoilers: The film follows the old guitarist reminiscing on his past life with his wife. They meet in a park while he is playing his guitar. They fall in love, get married, and all seems well. However, they begin to argue and eventually split up.

The performance by the actors were incredible and especially the amount of emotions carried in a silent film was great.

The end of the film sits on the old guitarist, crying, as he has a vision of his wife as she approaches him. She touches his heart as his arm shoots to his heart, representing to me, a heart attack.

The film ends just as quickly as it started, as and the music adds as much as the acting. The composition was incredible as every string of guitar synced with the scenes of the film. The highs and lows of the scenes work well with the highs and lows of the composition.

On a personal note, being able to meet the director and composer of the film added a lot to the experience as they were such nice people. They answered so many questions about their experiences making this film, as it was such a great start for the director's first film.

In the end, this was just a great experience that I wish I could experience again with a fresh mind. I loved the film, I loved the people, and I loved the experience. 10/10.

A wonderful story that all ages can relate to.

What makes this movie so incredible is Dominic's facial expressions which alone tell the story and the music that accompanies them and brings them to life. The beautiful story is enhanced by the very beautiful actors who without a word convey the joys and sorrows of young love. But it is through Dominic's face and the music that anyone who has ever been in love can relive their own experiences.

I loved this movie, its simplicity, its brevity and the talent ot the artists, directors, film ecitors, producers.

While it is based on the Picasso painting which is sad, Will Nunziata instead portrays a pensive man who had a life that he can recall and relive with happiness. One can tell that it is more than skill at acting that enables Mr. Chianese to communicate as he does with a wistful smile and a tear. He has lived this.
