I had always wondered if this show casts "plants" in the audience, working actors and models stationed in the audience to improve the enthusiasm of the crowd itself, and this episode confirms that as being true.
In this episode please turn your attention to the obvious model standing directly behind Jamie Fox in the audience. Jeans and a top. Taller than everyone around her. She dances way more obviously that anyone near her...and, in episode 7, she's behind Jamie again. Jeans, yellow top and a bra. Can't miss her.
So this show does use plants in the audience, confirmed, which seems kind of tacky to me. Why can't you just encourage genuine enthusiasm?
