Great show!!
kantbegoing22 October 2022
I just turned it on because I've always enjoyed The Crocodile Hunter, and nature shows. But my family filtered into the room and slowly we all got sucked in. Has great comedy, and suspense. Some bad language but a very good show. Netflix allowing binge watching is what keeps things great. If you had to wait week to week I could see this not doing well. I hope the keep it going and give more seasons of this great show. If you're into Australia, animals, humor and excitement this is the show you should watch. Gives the feeling of being a child and watching animal planet but with adult language..

What a Gem!

Just stumbled across this show on Netflix, I've always been interested in crocodiles. And it is such a fun watch! It's action packed you get to see how they trap and relocate the wild Crocs and how they live in the Northern Territory of Australia. Super interesting to see how they use helicopters and these massive gates and how the crocs can be illusive sometimes.

Also really fun to see how they live and their day to day lives and how Matt has these rescue crocs he keeps on his property. It really explains a lot about crocodiles and how they are not bad animals when they are in the right place. Makes me want to go explore Australia!

Amazing show!

Don't mess with the Northern Territory crocodiles or men.

Warning: Spoilers
I came across this searies while searching for something to watch on Netflix and it really doesn't disappoint that's for sure.

The Northern Territory area of Australia is one of the toughest places on the continent and that's not just those who live there but the animals as well. If it moves it's likely to poison, sting or kill you.

Matt Wright owns a business that catches crocodiles and for a living. Farmers call him up and his team to come and move the big crocs that are a danger to public and killing farmers livestock. He will then move them on to areas where they'll not bother folk or keep them in a pen because they've become too injured and wouldn't survive in the wild.

The ways in which they have to try and catch them is crazy. Lets build a trap while walking around in the crocs territory stuff that! But Matt and his team do it with ease and work well together. Some of the crocs are absolutely huge that they capture.

The 3 episodes that see the team trying to catch a croc called Road Kill were my favourite because no matter what the team did they couldn't capture him or they did but he escaped. It took nearly 4 months to eventually capture him and he was BIG!

Not sure what the negativity towards this show was about in some reviews because all I saw was the utmost respect for them from Matt and his team. Those that are in pens are well looked after.

As for the negativity from Matt and his team towards his brother-in-law Finn have obviously never been anywhere near Australia because that is how they talk to each other it's banter.

An excellent series, one I thoroughly enjoyed and would happily recommend.

Justice for Finny!!
viviewebber1 July 2023
I feel bad for poor finn they make it out like hes so stupid and just act like hes the most annoying person alive, he seems so excited and appreciative to be there but its almost like they don't want him at all. It is a very dangerous job I get, but Finn has clearly got a brain between his ears and is doing exactly what they say. (Also that episode with a chainsaw when the metal was falling if Finn went to save the chainsaw it would be an absolute recipe for disaster and him getting squashed) Overall though its a fun, nail biting show thats pretty enjoyable when your bored and want to learn a bit about something interesting.

must watch

Warning: Spoilers
This show is spectacular! I have never laughed so hard in my life at something so real. Not really one for reality TV but I really love this show and I recommend it to everybody that loves to watch things about nature and to have a good laugh. Poor Finn can't catch a break for nothing but I do think that the way they are treating him is kind of necessary for him to learn the ropes because at the end of the day you are dealing with wild animals and these animals have the strongest bite force in the entire Animal Kingdom so if you're looking for a lab and a good time I definitely recommend please watch.

5 stars for the crocs, zero for the Irwin wannabe
bente-260844 November 2022
In the show they tell you how they do everything with the wellbeing of the crocs at heart. Their action however dont align with that intent. The way the crocodile is treated and handled does not seem like the safest way for the animals. Especially not when they put the animal on even more unnecessary stress just for building suspense and making a "good" show. From episode 3 they started unnecessarily bullying their new team member. When all that childishness became to the expense of the crocs i finally had enough of all the small d*ck energy and turned it off. And for a show with crocs, thats a first for me.

Leave Finn at home.
clove-8037912 March 2023
Really enjoy these shows with Matt and his team, the country and catching the crocs. I dont enjoy the episodes with Finn, they just make him look even more stupid than he seems to be. He shouldnt be out with team and they dont seem to enjoy having him out there either. I hope Matt and team do more shows but leave the relatives at home. Its cute seeing his little boy Banjo on the show reminds me of Steve Irwin when bindi was so little. Absolutely beautiful country our Northern Territory and these shows let the world see it and enjoy it from a nice comfy armchair. Good luch and hope you succeed. Ditch Finn.

Don't believe the hype
kristopherdonnelly6 November 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Disgusting show dressed up to be aimed at animal welfare.

Almost all of the crocodile interactions result due to a wild crocodile inconveniencing farmers by attending remote locations and eating their livestock; ending with the animal being crudely captured and released, usually at an unknown location. On one occasion they do show a large croc being released to an urban ROOFTOP pool to be held in captivity.

Clearly a crude business pitch aimed at further lining the pockets of the cast. A far cry from the genuine love and compassion for the animals shown by other documentary makers such as the late Steve Irwin!!

Disgusting!!

BAD ACTING!
vemund-0924415 July 2023
Besides the nature and wildlife, which is amazing...this is just horrible!

I get that multitasking between content-creation and catching croc's is walking a fine line, but these caractors has missed that line by a mile and a half.

It is painfully obvius from the start, that they are creating 'problems' for themselves to make the show more interesting...but these actions just keeps getting more and more stupid and embarecing for each episode.

Worst part about it is hard to choose...but it might be that they just don't manage to sell it.

It's just bad acting...so it becomes boring and anoying.

I will say, however...that the bad acting is also what 'saves it' in a way.

Just for the simple reason, that If some of these situations and scenes where even remotly believable...I would have contacted child protective services, as would annybody else with half a concience.
