Whistle A Happy Tune: This Episode ***

Warning: Spoilers
Perhaps, this episode needed more singing and dance and less on the theatrics. Yet, we are really getting to know how a show is staged, produced and the general backstabbing that goes on.

Both directors of the shows in question are again encountering difficulty by their casts. What the new director did to the guy who gave up a part to work in "Bombshell" only to be told that his services were no longer required was absolutely reprehensible. That director was also looking for trouble by showing his relative inexperience in the craft by allowing every member of the cast to talk about further development of their part.

Don't you just love Jack Davenport? He shows that he can be so flexible in the role of Derrick.

Smash The Bells and Whistles

Warning: Spoilers
After the complete reshuffle of Bombshell and Hitlist now the two shows seem to be going better with Tom being Derek and Derek listening to things Jimmy has to say. Tom wants his ex in Bombshell but couldn't making him lose his job which was just nothing and I couldn't care less for this short time fling. Julia wanted to connect with an old friend Scott and in the end he forgave her. Jimmy has now slept with Karen which is OK but the fight between Jimmy and Derek over her seemed quite laughable. Ana Vargas singing "If I Were A Boy" was meant to be a great performance but was laughably bad for me that I was shocked Derek was made care about it. The only exciting thing about watching next week is Bernadettte will make her return to the show as Ivy's mother who know has a part in Bombshell which will give Peters something to sing and Peters was also good in her appearances last season. A very bad episode with not even an original song for me to care about.

EPISODE GRADE: D (MVP: Christian Borle)
