This episode was irritating in so many ways.
Jane's mom sticks her nose into everyone's business: Ben, Jane and even Gray. Then when she acts like no one should be surprised they get tongue-tied and can't call her out for obviously inappropriate behavior? At least Jane finally put her in her place.
Then you've got the two dads thing. Clearly the writers wanted to say something with gay marriage coming on the California ballot, but I don't watch ABCFamily to see transparent political ads on highly controversial issue. Who would ever surprise their boyfriend without any warning? Finally is the two girls pursuing Ben. Is Ben really so stupid as to not see what a manipulative b.i.t.c.h. Amanda is compared to Rita? Yeah he can be a bit thick at times, but this is so obvious it makes him look like an idiot.
I'm not surprised it got canceled, the writing was heading downhill.
