Good episode
LoveIsAStateOfMind27 February 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Did anyone else think it was really awful the way that Bailey, Arizona and Callie treated Teddy in the last episode of Grey's Anatomy? I mean I know it was meant to be funny and it was at the start (although I expected better from Bailey), then I was glad that Arizona shouted at Callie and Bailey but then we got to the last scene where Teddy arrived at their apartment was all excited about their girls night in and everyone else's reaction made me mad. Poor Teddy. It's not even like she has any other friends because Owen is a giant douche (in every way) – though I do wish we had more Teddy/Owen angsty scenes.

Which brings me onto the Owen/Cristina. I am not particularly invested in them as a couple but for the record I am Team Cristina all the way and always have been. However, I do appreciate that this was probably the only way to write them out of the "you had an abortion" hole. Now we can move onto the "you cheated on me" cycle. I love the whole Owen/Meredith/Cristina thing and the way Meredith respected Cristina's need to be alone whilst still letting her know she was there for her.

I have always loved Meredith but I doubly love her this season. I love the way she protected Lexie and told the others to back off and the way she decided to help the others and share her wisdom and study together at the end.

Teddy and Meredith <3.

A strong episode

Warning: Spoilers
The episode centres around the aftermath of Owens cheating and also Teddy coming to terms with the fact that she is a widow.

Sandra oh absolutely smashed this episode. She was incredible and just impressed me more and more with her acting. I hope that eventually her and owen sort it out.

Teddy and the organisation of the girls night was quite funny. However if I was in Miranda's position I would not have been able to say no to Ben.

Meredith just gets better and better. She is absolutely living up to the legend of her mother. Confident and capable but also with a warmth her mother never possessed. She is my favourite character in this season and has grown so much. Her and Derek are amazing and so cute with zola.

Lastly lexi is so sweet in this episode and Mark is so funny as the stand in chief. Beef with the chief was funny but it is driving me nuts that mark and lexi are still not back together. They belong together.

Christina had it coming
Hlaclaes8888 July 2021
Warning: Spoilers
The whole Christina is the victim thin? She so deserved it after treating Owen this way and making decisions without even considering his opinion, especially after she constantly proclaimed not wanting kids but then adoring Zola and not even caring that Owen was in the room hurting because of her decision so her whole victim arc in this episode? Total BS. She deserved this.

Failed Marriage
ZegMaarJus20 August 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This Episode begins with Owen and Cristina, flashbacks of their lovelife are being shown. Mark Sloan is the Chief of Surgery for now, because Cristina and Owen are in the middle of a relation crisis. Owen tells Cristina how he cheated on her and with who. Neil gets his new organs, otherwise he would have died. Owen and Cristina broke up with each other. Derek tells Owen that mark did a great job as Chief of Surgery today. Nice Episode of Grey's Anatomy Season 8, Cristina and Owen their relation is over. Their marriage has failed, curious to see if Cristina can get over this! And will Owen stay as Chief of Surgery?

Who's hurting Who?
jknousak9 March 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Christina deserved -- and I usually don't use that word -- but she DESERVED to be hurt for being such a cold, cruel, selfish, ugly, demanding person. The writing that she and Owen would not last was on the wall Oh, so many episodes ago. And I'm glad. Just waiting for her to leave.

I like Owen, I see him as a good guy and I'm rooting for him -- though I know who else he gets with in future. Just glad he was written to walk away in this episode.

Always good to see Rene Auberjonois in this episode.
