It was back in June of last year that we learned HBO Max had pulled the plug on the Ridley Scott-produced sci-fi series “Raised by Wolves,” cancelling the show after just two seasons. The series was subsequently pulled from HBO Max entirely, with promised plans to license the series (and others) to third-party free ad-supported streaming television (Fast) channels.
Making good on that promise, Bloody Disgusting has learned that “Raised by Wolves” has now found a new home at The Roku Channel, alongside HBO Max’s “Westworld.”

It's time for big hair, big dresses, and even bigger drama. On Oct. 9, TLC announced that new episodes of My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding will be returning to the network. Sadly, it won't be for another few weeks. However, TLC dropped a short teaser on Twitter as well as announcing a special sneak peek of the premiere on Sunday, Oct. 21, at 11 P.M. Est. Needless to say, fans of the original series went absolutely bananas. After all, no matter how ridiculous the show may have been, it was wildly entertaining. "So excited this is coming back," one user commented. "Omg! It's so addictive to watch! I still watch all the old ones that are on now," added another. Big dresses...bigger drama! The saying goes that every little girl dreams about what her wedding dress will look like, but the dresses from My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding were so crazy, it's hard to imagine any human person could come up with them. And yet, they did, with the girls walking down the aisle in gowns that are wildly blinged out, enormous, and colorful. Though most American brides tend to wear white — or maybe the occasional cream or blush if they're feeling rebellious — American Gypsy girls aren't your typical brides. And yet, despite the garish garments that are honestly hard to look directly at, we're kind of obsessed with the TLC show's wedding dresses. Watch the video above to see some of the craziest gowns from the show. In case you didn't know, most of those unique dresses come from one designer: Sondra Celli. "This is the best place in America to get a dress,...

People who watch a lot of reality TV know that some of the plots and storylines can be a little fake, but My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding takes it to a whole new level. The TLC show, which focuses on two ethnic nomadic communities, Romanis, and Irish Travelers, exposes viewers to over-the-top wedding dresses, teen brides, and trailer park fighting matches. It's the type of hot mess that people just can't look away from. Although TLC was accused of glorifying negative stereotypes on the series, it wasn't until a 2014 Facebook post by Season 1 participant Priscilla Kelly that fans learned the extent producers went to get their specific narrative, which included hiring actors and even yes, faking weddings. "Basically [producers] told me if I would just get married it didn't matter who it was it didn't have to be legal just so they had something to put on TV," she wrote.

She sews seas shells! On tonight’s all-new My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding, Gypsy Sisters star Nettie Stanley’s son Whitey marries his longtime love Lottie — and, of course, the family turned to everyone’s favorite gypsy-couture all-star, Sondra Celli, to design the dress. “The wedding was down by water, so we did seashells,” says Celli, calling from her suburban Boston business on yet another snowy winter day. “The dress is absolutely gorgeous. She had a theme to her wedding, so it worked for me to go into ice blues and seashells. Seashells! It’s a beautiful dress. It’s odd because it … Continue reading →

Even after many years spent designing over-the-top fashions and blinged-out accessories for her vast American gypsy clientele, Boston designer Sondra Celli says she never tires of a good challenge — or runs out of dazzling new ideas. “It is a blast to do work for the show,” Celli says. “It is blast of energy in the midst of all the baby dresses.” Celli says that her synergy with her gypsy clientele is based on a very simple premise: mutual respect paired with mind-blowing creativity. “They make me feel like a movie star,” Celli says. “They treat me so well.
