Pure Entertainment! Love it
brennansmomma15 March 2023
So far, this show is pure entertainment. Each episode is a new story with the continuing character personalities forming their own story. Yes "Simone" is over the top as some reviews have state the obvious. She is supposed to be as the others are characters keeping their strict personalities. The actor, Brandon, constantly dropping hints about his fame, Carter is the pure cop/agent, no nonsense, Laura doesn't get too far away from her profiling personality and Garza remains the Boss at all times. That is what the show IS and what it is NOT, thus far, is a show trying to ram politics and current events down your throat like so many series out there. Too bad I haven't kept track of the series that have done that and are no longer on TV.

Prepare to enjoy pure entertainment with no strings attached.

Forcing views

Decent episode but this show has come to the point of relying on The Rookie viewers to watch. This show has so far had countless crossover episodes and only 10 episodes in at that, either the show is trying to streamline its viewer or the show was not trusted to do well so they heavily rely on these type crossover episodes. I feel like this show will be renewed for a second season but I'm kinda hoping it's not so I don't HAVE to watch it to complete a story/episode of The Rookie. I'm hoping The Rookie Feds changes to rely on its own story rather than the writers having the shows views coming from forcing the crossover views.

Watched ONLY for the crossover story

Possibly the producers of The Rookie and The Rookie: Feds think they're going to lure Rookie viewers to this show with the crossovers. It doesn't work for us. We find "Simone" (Nash) to simply be irritating with her over-the-top acting style and high-pitched but hoarse voice.

Some of the other talent is okay, but as soon as we start to relax with them, here comes Nash again to grate on our ears.

The story itself pushes belief past the breaking point and didn't cause us to suspend our disbelief. Then we stray from the serious story for a nice bit of family drama between Simone and her father when she has Nolan over for dinner? Barf.

Put the show out of our misery

There is nothing good about this show which stars a talentless actress who plays every role the same way. I watched only to see what happened to the plot line from the Rookie crossover. The acting is so bad I kept skipping parts. The Rookie is a decent show, but not as good as it was. Don't drag it down more by having Niecy Nash, with her grating voice, come to save the day. It is not realistic that she knows more than the seasoned agents or can interrogate better because she was what, a school counselor. Kill it already. Don't fake the ratings by getting Rookie watchers to tune in against our will.
