Helldivers 2 has been going strong despite facing several hurdles, such as the Steam and Psn account linking mandate or the delisting of the game from Steam in several regions that do not support the PlayStation Network. It seems like the game community is the best in the industry by far.
The Helldivers 2 community has review-bombed the game and then reversed it with positive reviews, and that says a lot about them. However, it all may come crashing down, and Super Earth might lose the war if the community is not together and players start doing what they see fit.

In April 2024, Naoya Matsumoto’s Kaiju No. 8 anime series hit the screens, and for the first time in years, fans believed that they might have found something unique. The series was quite different from a basic Shonen series as it did not follow the stereotypical anime tropes and introduced a new angle with the help of its protagonist, Kafka Hibino.
Kafka Hibino – Kaiju No. 8
Kafka defied every rule that is followed by a main character in a Shonen series, and this was a good thing as it made fans believe that Kaiju No. 8 might be on to something. However, as the story progressed, it went the same route as every other Shonen anime series, and Kafka’s unique traits went to waste.
When it became noticeable in the series, fans pointed it out and shared their opinions about the wasted potential of Kafka Hibino and how one of...

When Kaiju No. 8 debuted in April 2024, fans had a lot of expectations from the series, as the series was already successful in the manga industry. Eventually, the anime series lived up to its expectations and became one of the best action anime series of the current year. However, Kaiju No. 8 brought with it a new twist, which is not often seen in the anime world.
Kafka – Kaiju No. 8
The twist was introduced through the protagonist of the series, Kafka Hibino. Kafka was a cleaner for Monster Sweeper Inc., but he always wanted to join the Defense Force to eradicate the Kaiju, or “monsters,” that have infested the world and are wreaking havoc. But later on, he himself becomes a Kaiju, and the story becomes more and more interesting.
The twist that Kafka brought with him was that he defied the physical stereotypes of the Shonen main character.

With only five episodes under its belt, Kaiju No. 8, featuring Kafka Hibino as the protagonist of the series, has made a big name for itself in the anime world. The series was awaited by fans for a long time because of the popularity and reception that the Kaiju No. 8 manga got, which has been going on since 2020.
Kafka Hibino – Kaiju No. 8
While fans are happy with the story, animation, and characters of the Kaiju No. 8 anime series, the one thing that the fans were not happy about was Kafka’s physical appearance in the series. Episode 5 of Kaiju No. 8, which was released on May 11, 2024, featured a scene where Kafka unveils his puffy belly, which has shocked fans.
Anime fans instantly started comparing Kafka with Shonen protagonists from other series and pointed out how he does not have the typical body of a main character. However,...

A fun but heaty debate was launched on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) when a couple of Tekken champions began making a mockery out of a game’s character, Zafina.
The character’s origin, according to the story, goes back to the Middle East. Born to spiritual warriors, she holds mystical abilities, as can be seen during the gameplay. Zafina was introduced in Tekken 6 where she is depicted as a protector of an imperial tomb.
The latest installment of the game features 32 characters, including new fighters and ones from previous titles, with each character having their own storyline. Austria’s refreshingly outré official submission to this year’s Oscars race (it didn’t advance to the shortlist) is a captivating exploration of glamour, schmoozing and the soul-draining superficialities of what Joni Mitchell called the star-making machinery. As with their previous features, directors Tizza Covi and Rainer Frimmel handle all the top-line production duties themselves on Vera, shooting on 16mm and using mostly nonprofessional actors in a blend of drama and documentary. But their latest outing is also a leap into more structured fiction, and at its center is a woman who’s no stranger to the camera.
Vera Gemma, who won the Orizzonti Award for best female performance upon the film’s Venice premiere, has been a reality star, stripper, lion tamer, writer and director, as well as an actor. She grew up on movie sets, at the feet of her famous dad, Giuliano Gemma, a beloved luminary...

Below Deck Season 11 has yet to hit Bravo airwaves, but that hasn’t stopped fans from asking about Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5.
Captain Glenn Shepard and his Parsifal III crew have been fan favorites since the show was revamped for Season 2.
Introducing Gary King, Daisy Kelliher, and Colin MacRae helped Below Deck Sailing Yacht become a mega-hit.
Fans wait to have Below Deck Sailing Yacht back on Bravo airwaves each year.
This year is no exception, especially after fans were less than thrilled with Below Deck Med Season 8.
Let’s look at when the sailing show will be back on the small screen.
When will Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 premiere?
Unfortunately, the wait for Captain Glenn to return with some new and returning crew members will be awhile. There is an entire season of the Og show to air before we get to see the sailing show.

Below Deck Med Season 8 has wrapped up, but fans are left with questions about the cast since a reunion isn’t happening.
There’s no question that Season 8 of Below Deck Med was a roller coaster of a ride filled with some questionable yachties.
The drama between the crew reached a level of toxicity, making the season hard to watch (at times).
Now that Below Deck Med Season 8 has officially ended, it’s time to look at where some cast members stand today with each other.
After all, crew relationships and friendships were not only tested, but some have completely fallen apart since filming wrapped.
Some cast relationship updates may surprise Below Deck Med fans, while others will be as expected, given things that went down on the show.
Where does the Below Deck Med Season 8 cast stand today with each other?
Captain Sandy Yawn remains on good terms with everyone.

Below Deck Med Season 8 has ended without a reunion show for the yachties to rehash the good, the bad, and the ugly of the season.
In what has become the norm for the Below Deck franchise, there isn’t a Below Deck Med Season 8 reunion.
Last year, Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4, Below Deck Season 10, and Below Deck Down Under Season 2 all hit Bravo airwaves.
However, the only reunion show to happen was for Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4
It’s a big letdown for fans, especially since the Real Housewives constantly get multi-part reunion shows.

Not only is One More Shot filmed with the illusion of being one long take like its predecessor 2021’s One Shot, it does something more important. It reunites director James Nunn and writer Jamie Russell with the previous film’s leads, Scott Adkins as Navy Seal Jake Harris and Waleed Elgadi as terrorist Amin Mansur.
Following the events of the first film, Harris is escorting Mansur back to the US where they plan to get him to reveal the whereabouts of a dirty bomb set to explode during the State of the Union Address, which the President, of course, refuses to postpone. For leverage, CIA Agent Marshall has brought Mansur’s pregnant wife Niesha to meet his plane. But they’re not the only ones there to meet the flight.

After the $1.4 billion success of Barbie, Mattel Films is putting another one of its beloved doll lines on the development track.
Paramount Pictures and Maze Runner and Twilight outfit Temple Hill are developing a feature project based on the American Girl dolls, with Lindsey Anderson Beer, who recently worked with Paramount on Pet Sematary: Bloodlines, is set to write and produce the project.
Talks between Mattel, Paramount, and Temple Hill began earlier this year.
The American Girl doll line started in the late ’80s, and features dolls with historically accurate backgrounds, the idea being they represent different eras of American history. The line included supplementary books about the dolls’ lives. The first three dolls in the line — Molly, Samantha, and Kirsten — represented the World War II era, turn-of-the-century America, and 19th century farmland, respectively.
Said Beer, “Growing up, my sister and I were American Girl girls. I had Kirsten, and she had Molly.

The spiciest talk show ‘Koffee with Karan’ is returning for its 8th season with a heady mix of dopamine induced coffee and lots of well, Karan being Karan. The teaser for the new season was unveiled on Wednesday, and it’s as self-aware as it could get with show host Karan Johar confessing of having boring conversations on the show during its last edition with “nepo” kids. He also thinks of “inviting” cricketers in the teaser but quickly decides against it considering the controversy it unleashed when Hardik Pandya and Kl Rahul graced the show.
The teaser shows two versions of Karan, one is Karan the talk show host and the second is his conscience or rather “Konscience” who roasts him throughout the course of the teaser over his choice of guests and the show and the content that he puts out there.
This time around, the chat will be edgier,...

Randall Park doesn’t want Hollywood to just look at “Barbie” as a toy-driven enterprise.
The “Shortcomings” actor told Rolling Stone that the history-making success of Greta Gerwig’s billion-dollar movie should be encouraging studios to greenlight more films from female directors, not just double down on toy adaptations.
“I feel like, just in general, this industry is taking the wrong lessons,” Park said. “For example, ‘Barbie’ is this massive blockbuster, and the idea is: Make more movies about toys! No. Make more movies by and about women!”
“Barbie” is co-written and directed by Gerwig, with lead actress Margot Robbie producing the film under her LuckyChap Productions entertainment banner. Barbie conglomerate Mattel also produced the feature through the newly formed Mattel Films. The company has 14 movies in development based on Mattel toys and other properties, ranging from Hot Wheels to Polly Pocket to American Girl dolls and the Magic 8 Ball,...

New Delhi, July 31 (Ians) It is perhaps for the first time that a Hollywood film, which doesn’t belong to any superhero fantasy action universe, has made more money than a much-hyped Bollywood multi-starrer helmed by none other than Karan Johar, seven years after he last occupied the director’s chair.
Christopher Nolan’s ‘Oppenheimer’, which is about the Manhattan Project and the moral dilemma of J. Robert Oppenheimer, the physicist leading America’s quest to develop the atom bomb, made more money in its first three days than the Ranveer Singh-Alia Bhatt-starrer ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’.
Surprised? With neither the evocative music of ‘Rocky Aur Rani’, nor a parade of chiffon saris evoking the magic of Yash Chopra (and stellar performances by veterans Shabana Azmi and Dharmendra), ‘Oppenheimer’, despite its gritty narrative on a theme Indian audiences were not expected to warm up to, made Rs 13.5 crore...

Nanni Moretti always dresses impeccably — whether tuxed-up for the Cannes red carpet for his eight competition appearances since 1978 (his ninth, for A Brighter Tomorrow, will come May 24) or walking the Croisette in the casual chic (cashmere sweaters and chinos with open-collar shirts in dark gray or plum) that appears to come naturally to Italian men of Moretti’s generation. But the mantle of elder statesman of Italian cinema seems to hang on the 69-year-old director more like an ill-fitting suit.
It’s hard to deny Moretti’s position as a successor to the great neorealists — Vittorio De Sica, Federico Fellini, Roberto Rossellini — and the generation of New Wave heroes of the 1960s like Michelangelo Antonioni, Bernardo Bertolucci and Lina Wertmüller who reclaimed and restored Italian cinema after the ravages of fascism. His list of awards and acclaims alone — the Palme d’Or for The Son’s Room in 2001, Cannes best director in 1994 for Dear Diary,...

A legacy character is returning to the “Mission: Impossible” franchise and it’s probably not who you’d expect.
On social media, writer/director Christopher McQuarrie just announced that Rolf Saxon, the actor who played unlucky CIA agent William Donloe in Brian De Palma’s 1996 masterpiece “Mission: Impossible” will be returning for the eighth film, “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning, Part Two” (due out in the summer of 2024).
If, for some reason, you don’t have an encyclopedic knowledge of the franchise, in the first movie Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his team, then comprised of Luther (Ving Rhames), Krieger (Jean Reno) and Claire (Emmanuele Béart), stage an audacious break-in at the CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia. This involves sneaking into the “black vault,” an ultra-secure CIA database overseen by William Donloe, an analyst at the agency. Hannah Waddingham has joined the cast of “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 2,” otherwise known as “Mi:8.” Director Christopher McQuarrie revealed the news in a Friday Instagram post.
“And Hannah Waddingham… #Godspeed #DeadReckoning,” he captioned an image of Waddingham on set, wearing a cap and standing in front of what looks like a naval base.
The “Ted Lasso” star will make her debut in Paramount’s storied spy franchise on June 24, 2024. “Dead Reckoning Part One” is slated to release on July 14, 2023. You can always rely on the “Scream” movies for great meta-humor and gory murders, and the sixth film is no exception. Co-directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett offer exciting new set pieces, amusing self-aware comedy and lots of delightful characters, but it’s hard to shake the sensation that no matter how much noise “Scream VI” makes, it doesn’t have a lot to say.
Wes Craven’s original “Scream” talked a big game about horror, but it was more than a laundry list of tropes, to be subverted or followed depending on screenwriter Kevin Williamson’s whims.
It spoke to a generation raised on home video, who filtered even the most dramatic and traumatic events in their lives through the entertainment they’d already consumed. It also introduced an undercurrent of misogyny that would be explored throughout the original trilogy, as one killer after another blamed Sidney Prescott’s promiscuous mother for their problems,...

David Sullivan ended up in the Ed again.
It was inevitable after Chicago Med Season 8 Episode 1 when his parents refused to believe that he had schizoaffective disorder and refused to get him psychiatric help.
But on Chicago Med Season 8 Episode 15, David had been on psych meds for a while before having another psychotic episode. Who could have predicted that after his parents' attitude the last time?
Since David's parents had refused treatment, it would have made more sense if David's auditory hallucinations and belief he was dead came from being unmedicated.
However, where would the story have gone if Chicago Med had gone in that direction? We already had the story of the parents refusing to accept that their son needed help; we didn't need a repeat.

However, where would the story have gone if Chicago Med had gone in that direction? We already had the story of the parents refusing to accept that their son needed help; we didn't need a repeat.

In 2017, ahead of a star-making appearance on Season Nine of RuPaul’s Drag Race, the Chicago artist Shea Couleé wrote, directed, and starred in a lushly shot, intensely fashionable 10-minute short film called Lipstick City. Couleé takes on two roles: Mrs. Couleé and Shea, unlikely allies who journey through a surreal, hedonistic club underworld in order to get Kill Bill-style revenge on a cheating husband.
Lipstick City established Couleé as a creative force and magnetic onscreen presence — talents that became legendary as she ascended to the top four of her first season of Drag Race,...

Jerrod Carmichael will shift gears a little with his next HBO project.
The comedian and Golden Globes host will star in and executive produce a “comedy documentary series” following his personal life. The show’s description brings to mind the low-key vibe of HBO’s How To With John Wilson: It will follow Carmichael “through encounters with friends, family, and strangers, all in his quest for love, sex, and connection.”
“We’ve loved working with Jerrod over the past 10 years, and to watch him discover new layers of both himself and his comedy,” said Nina Rosenstein, executive vp programming at HBO . The currently untitled series will be directed by Ari Katcher, who has worked with Carmichael on Hulu’s Ramy, NBC’s The Carmichael Show and the feature...

The first feature film by Chinese filmmaker Erzhuo Wang is an ambitious work. It challenges the classic narrative formats. Not by using particularly complex techniques, but actually by choosing a very sober and reduced form. “Farewell, my hometown” will be screened at the Black Movie film festival in Geneva.
Farewell, My Hometown is screening at Black Movie
From end to start, the viewer is led through the film by a female voice. Soon we realize that it doesn’t belong to any of the characters we see on the screen. The voice has the function of an alter-ego. It doesn’t only represent the characters we get to know during the film, but also in a broader way, it speaks for several generations of Chinese women. Director Wang tells the story of three of them. Each one grew up in a different time period. Their destiny is not...
