Too Much Individual Power

This is a little different. During a dirt track race, a car bursts into flame. But one of the people that was supposed to be in the car isn't there, the other burned almost beyond recognition. What is strange is that this event leads to what could be called domestic terrorism. It also leads to some very sick people at the center.

When a car is burned in an off-road race through the Mojave Desert, the CSI is summoned since the driver is completely burned and the co-driver is missing. They investigate the area but do not find anyone, but the helmet of the co-driver. Nick and Russell meet Kathy Veck, the CEO of Veck Oil, who was in the first position. When Greg analyzes the debris of the car, he concludes that the explosion was not accidental, and he heads with Morgan to the desert using a metal detector and they find the detonator. Now they change the investigation to find who exploded the race car and why.

"Dune and Gloom" is not among the best episodes of "CSI". The plot is weak, with cray people and domestic terrorism. The conclusion is also reasonable only. My vote is six.
