When Benson becomes the target of a ruthless gang leader, Capt. Duarte takes the case; Fin works with the Bronx SVU to help clear its case backlog; Lt. Dixon offers to translate when a deaf student is raped.
McGrath informs Olivia that the Feds are taking a look at the Bronx SVU cause of their low closure rate. He wants her to close a few of their cases to appease the FEDS and she says she can't. Later she's attacked by some kids whom she deduces are members of the gang she investigated a few months ago. She talks to Gang task force head Duarte who tells her why she was attacked and the best way to get the one who ordered it is in the Bronx so she agrees to go to the Bronx precinct and work with their SVU and when she discovers only one detective cause the detective chose to speak out about the unit's incompetence which led to most of the unit resigning. When she asks him what case should they work he chooses a case wherein a man may have been wrongfully convicted. Olivia decides to go with it and McGrath is not happy she chose it but she continues to investigate.—Rcs0411@yahoo.com
