Saturday Night Live Host: Joseph Gordon Levitt
dalydj-918-25517523 September 2012
Warning: Spoilers
Live with Kelly and Michael: Nasim as Kelly and Jay as Michael the new hosts of the show. The two have done a very good job of impersonating the two especially Jay as new co-host Michael. Then comes out Hader as Robert Pattinson. Good opening sketch that was not politically charged. B+ (MVP: Jay Pharoh)

Monologue: JGL here to host for his new movie Looper coming out next week. He comes out talking about his year but then when Magic Mike comes up we get his tribute to the movie. Which like these scenes in the film is just a bit awkward to watch. B (MVP: Joseph Gordon Levitt)

The Undecided Voter: The undecided voters of America is a sketch about people asking questions like can women vote or who is the president. Not that funny of a sketch as it is filler. B (MVP: Nasim Padrad)

The Son Of The Most Interesting Man In The World: JGL in a sketch where he is doing off putting things. C+ (MVP: Joseph Gordon Levitt)

Sam Flint, Private Detective: Sam Flint is showing a man he's wife is cheating on him through a series of cartoon pictures including monsters and women cheating. Sure Hader was good but still this sketch was to short. B- (MVP: Bill Hader)

The Son Of The Most Interesting Man In The World II: Another one of these boring sketches but this time we get to see the most interesting man in the world screaming at him for how stupid he is. B- (MVP: Jason Sudeikis)

The Burgundy Room: JGL is a Vegas magician with an accent I cannot tell what part of the world it's from. He is a fake as Curtis keeps telling the audience that nothing is being done to him. Funny sketch for Killam I thought. B (MVP: Tarran Killam)

G.O.B.: A tampon made for women by the republicans which is least interesting sketch as it would never be true. D+ (MVP: Vanessa Bayer)

Mumford & Sons - "I Will Wait": Good performance but nothing to lose sleep over. B (MVP: Mumford & Sons) Weekedn Update: He starts with What Are You Doing? Where Seth talk about Romney's skin colour, Making fun of 47% of America, Obama worried about not getting re-elected even though he is leading the polls. Then out comes Bashar Hafez al-Assad's two best childhood friends played by Bayer/Armisen. Whispering about things they do not like about him as they are scared. After these two Kate McKinnon comes out as Ann Romney, she nails Ann's coldness but it's just really funny. Just the way she said Beyonce is funny and she sings. Jay then comes out as ESPN'S Steven A. Smith which is another great character for him. A- (MVP: Kate McKinnon)

Four Guys in London: This is just a sketch about these men singing and talking about their lives in London and all the time. Then at the end everyone goes out from the stage. D (MVP: Bill Hader)

The Finer Things: Kenan and Jay as rappers talking about jewelery. Then JGL comes out as a rapper who comes out wit some gifts for the two as they talk about the fashion they love. It was funny to see the rappers over reacting to this fashion but I did not like the sketch that much. C (MVP: Jay Pharoh)

Mumford & Sons - "Bellow My Feet": I love the sons and I thought their second song was better as the singing along with music was great. B+ (MVP: Mumford & Sons) Presenting Evelyn: Last sketch and JGL plays Evelyn. The sketch is about Evelyn meeting a boy from work played by new cast-member Tim Robinson. She is presented by a musical number which is a weird sketch but very funny. The family is weirded by the way the present her. C (MVP: Fred Armisen)

Powers Reality: Last sketches are always bad but this one is just about these peoples complaining about a billboard. D- (MVP: Nasim Padrad)

Nice Show tonight with Weekend Update being the best sketch as We saw McKinnon as Ann Romney for the first time. Worst was the last sketch I thought. JGL is a very underrated comedic talent I believe.

EPISODE GRADE: B- (MVP: Jay Pharoh)
