The role of 'Tori', played by actress Lisa Neeld, was not included in the original script. the character was created in a rough draft as a means to draw some of the villains together. Script writer Len Kabasinski decided he liked the idea of the 'Tori' character so much he extended the character to appear throughout a good portion of the film.
Actor Bud Crandall who appears in the opening sequence is also known as professional wrestler Benett Cole. Benett Cole has been the 'Lake Erie Championship' title holder multiple times for the PWR (pro Rampage Wrestling) federation in addition to wrestling in several other promotions all over the US.
The entire ballroom sequence was shot in two hours.
Two scenes were cut from the script and not included in the filming schedule. They are as follows:
(1) The film's opening was going to be in the Siberian Wilderness in the dead of winter. the Scene was to feature a couple of characters running wildly trying to escape the villains in the scene. After the characters are killed, the villains come up and have a brief conversation in the Russian Language and then the opening credit sequence was to begin.
(2) Towards the middle of the film, there was chaos and dissension amongst the villains. At one point 'The Network-Nicolas Johnson' challenges 'the Chopper-Steve Reminger' in hand-to-hand combat over the right to make decisions for their hunting party. this scene was removed from the script as Director Kabasinski felt the hunting party should be 'in competition with one another and there should not seem like there is 'a leader' of the party....it is everyone out for themselves trying to win the competition'.
Alot of dialogue from a variety of villains was cut from the film. the Kabasinski Brothers decided it fit the film better to have these characters more mysterious killers in the forest environment than having them be 'defined characters'. a couple scenes were fully deleted out of the film as well.
