Worth the Wait!

I was anticipating watching the documentary and could not wait for the release. As an BIPOC runner and coach, I wanted to hear the stories of the women that looked like me and the obstacles that they had to endure in this sport. Each one of these athletes did not let the outside distractions stop them from "Breaking Three Hours." I suggest you get all of your running buddies and have a watch party and listen to the history being told as these remarkable and brave women tell their stories. Hands down, this film will inspire you on your run journey! I am hoping that more documentaries are in the works that will tell "our" story.

Wow! So good!

I love this! I knew very little about marathons until recently, and I knew nothing about these amazing, female, African American athletes who have, and are still kicking butt in the sport. Seeing these great women who have overcome and accomplished so much in their lives and as world-class marathoners makes me proud. I like the friendly, upbeat style of this documentary. It drew me in and held me in rapt attention. And seeing the children involved gives me great hope for a future that will encourage endless numbers of people of color to reach and exceed their personal bests through running. I would like to see more from this Director!

Powerful!

It was so DOPE to learn about these awesome women. Their stories of perseverance, persistence, patience, strength, ambition, excellence, resilience, impact, achievement and Black Excellence was so impactful. This should be required viewing for Black children regardless of their sports interest.

The diversity among the women was incredible and made the story resonate and relatable to a wide audience.

Shout out to Director, and Kayla Key & Key Productions and team pulling their stories together and sharing it with the world. Shout out to the artist and producers of the song at the end. Keep Buildin'!
