- Sarchie: You see, Father, as we speak every day, out there, someone's getting hurt, ripped off, murdered, raped. Where's God when all that's happening? Hmm?
- Mendoza: In the hearts of people like you, who put a stop to it. I mean, we can talk all night about the problem of evil, but what about the problem of good? I mean, if there's no God, if the world is just "survival of the fittest," then why are all the men in this room willing to lay down their lives for total strangers? Hmm?
- Mendoza: And vengeance always destroys the avenger.
- Mendoza: You'll hear three voices. One of the voices is coming from a five-year-old girl. Every culture, every religion has practiced exorcism.
- Mendoza: There's two types of evil in this world, Officer Sarchie, secondary evil, the evil that men do, and primary evil, which is something else entirely.
- Cop: [restraining Mendoza who is being goaded by a possessed Santino] Remember what you said to me about not listening to what it says
- Sarchie: [enters his home to find Santino]
- [aims gun]
- Sarchie: Get down! Get down on the ground right now, or I'll f - -ing shoot you!
- [shouts at the ceiling]
- Sarchie: Jen? Christina?
- Santino: They're not here. They'll die if you don't find them.
- Sarchie: Where are they?
- [points gun at Santino's face]
- Sarchie: Where are they?
- [Hits Santino with his gun]
- Sarchie: Tell me... where the f - -... they are.
- [Santino stares wordlessly at him; Sarchie hits Santino with his gun forcefully enough to knock him to the ground, then kneels down and puts the gun to Santino's throat]
- Santino: Let us in. Let us in and we'll tell you.
- [pauses]
- Santino: Let me in. It's the only way you'll find them.
- [looks down at the gun against his throat]
- Santino: Do it. Do it, go on, do it do it do it do it do it do it, *f - -in'* do it!
- [Sarchie handcuffs him to a nearby pipe]
- Santino: [stands up] If you won't let me in... then your family dies. And so will you!
- [Father Mendoza has successfully exorcised Santino, rescuing him from the Jungler. Exhausted, he semi-collapses and catches his breath]
- Mendoza: [to Sarchie] That's Expulsion. The beast is gone. The beast is gone.
