Fun, Flirty and Happy
Brighids-Forge16 February 2013
Warning: Spoilers
I LOVED this episode, almost start to finish, because it was chaotic fun. I'm not going on, but this is a time you want to FEEL and not over-analyze. Just enjoy the ride :) Excellent performances of all types, good music and excellent film directing (this season has been really above par on that) This being Valentine's Day AND a wedding, romance and hook ups were inevitable and (I thought) tastefully and joyfully done. There was one hookup that did catch me off-guard, but worked well, if a tad on the bitter side UNTIL the hookup. Kurt/Blaine's chemistry was back in full force, and there were some great lines tossed in amongst those scenes; the Kurt/Tina bitch-fest was hilarious-!Finn/Rachel chemistry was back at it's peak, again fun and flirty, rather than dramatic. Finn waxes eloquent; who knew? Artie & Betty : ) Sue's usual evil mind games were even nastier and led to a GREAT song by Jayma, w help from Mercedes (who knew she could do that??) Not overlooking Will & Emma, but I'm so certain that they'll get together in a SMALL, JoP wedding without stress that I'm not even going there.

new and old cast
edyngrn11 September 2015
I like it that some of the old cast comes back, but this episode was great. Besides the wedding, it was great that everyone came together for the people who are beloved by all. The friend connections that were re-made and pondering where they go from there. It was obvious that there are hook-ups being a wedding and v-day, but my thoughts went to Finchel and what would happen when they meet because when she was there the last time, she broke it off for the time being. It was a good episode of maybe's for the future of these connections. What I did not like was sue wearing the same dress as Pillsbury. It was planned on purpose for Pillsbury OCD. The way the writers wrote it was not good. They should have made sue leave will alone for his big day.

Shear writing genius!!!

Warning: Spoilers
OMG - I could not disagree with edyngrn more.

This episode (and more specifically the wedding scene) was shear writing genius. I laughed so hard and so long at the spectacle of Sue so masterfully highjacking Will and Emma's special moment that I though I was going to keel over and die. My mouth and face hurt and the tears that came out of my eyes and down my face from the stress of trying to contain myself and catch my breath was almost too much to bare!

This was the ultimate anti-hero scene steal IN HISTORY! The subtlety of the twist and the lack of words in the build up by Sue as you reflect on what is about to unfold before your eyes and just how far she is going to take all of it to bring them down and crush them is just unforgettable and MAGIC!

In one simple and elegant fell swoop Sue manages to not only freak Emma out into an emotional OCD upheaval that Segways into a brilliantly masterful performance by Emma as she sings her MELTDOWN (bravo Jayma Mays) but then the transition into Sue making a mockery and a fool of Will and this special moment by walking down the aisle to the altar in Emma's place with the utter shock and mortification on Will's face and the rest of the crowd as Sue takes her place beside Will at the altar truly places Sue at the absolute top of the anti-hero totem pole in TV history. This episode (from just this one scene alone) should have won an Emmy HANDS DOWN!

The writing, the cast and the incredible performances of this series will NEVER be duplicated ever again in the history of TV. The interpose of the awkward high school teen transition years and the struggles of adults caught between the madness and their own lives allows each of the characters an incredible platform in which to expose and express and develop each character in a way that keeps the audience of both target ages both entertained and wanting more as the characters struggle to grow and overcome their fears and weaknesses while at the same time showcases their strengths and the dedication and resolve it truly takes to pursue and make chasing one's dreams and passions the complex representation it is that brings MAGIC and the perfect blend of writing, acting and performance arts to its crescendo time and time again.

But this episode and its placement within the entirety of the whole series as we Season after Season see the "fight" between the "Jocks" and the "Geeks" play out in an endless parade and spectacle of power struggles and selfish interests battling out wars both external & internal and both between the groups and their individuals struggle for identity and worth in the world and their lives makes this series what it is!

Glee I Do

Warning: Spoilers
Yes it has come the moment fans of the show have been waiting for forever. The moment Will and Emma get married. Honestly I have never cared about these two characters and the drama they try to surround this story with just bored me to tears. The best moments of the episode where the quick scenes between Quinn and Santana because of both how funny it was and fun. I guess the writers of the show can do lesbian relationships quite well. The drama from last week with Finn kissing Emma added nothing to be caring and when she left I was happy because it meant Matthew Morrison would disappear for some time. Finn and Rachel should have ended when it ended and dragging it on just makes it even worse. Also how surprising was it for the show to put out another young pregnancy. Seeing some characters come back was good but most of them were wasted compared to some of these new characters that are just badly written including the young love that is just a rip of what the show has done many times before. Musicals numbers where hard to watch and nothing happened in the episode I cared for other then Santana and Quinn in their short scenes.

EPISODE GRADE: D+ (MVP: Naya Rivera)
