Fantastic episode

While the storyline might not be the best, the cinematography, visual gags and fourth wall breaks all make up for it. Haven't laughed at Glee like this since season... 3.

Warning: Spoilers
The first meeting of the superhero club meets for the first team where everyone introduces themselves as there superhero types. New members come in with some not so good names. The super heroes then have an emergency which is there trophy was stolen by the warblers. Jake wants to ask out Marley but Ryder tells him that he's the one with her. The two fight and the fake superheros try to come to the rescue. Finn try's his first idea and they club do not like the idea he presented them with. Blaine has to go get the trophy and the superhero theme continues. Beastie tells Finn to embarrass his superhero persona. Blaine meets the new leader of the Warblers who led his ex army choir to winning. He tells Blaine that he can get the trophy back if he rejoins the school glee club. They try to get him back by giving him jacket which he has not worn in a long time. They all then breakout into song even Blaine taking the lead of the song. The song to get him back is "Dark Side" as they all dance around him like in the past. Finn comes in with his new superhero costume bringing in the idea of Dynamic Duets. Kitty and Marley are made to sing a duet while Ryder and Jake have to sing a duet. Jake and Ryder sing "Superman" which ends with the two fighting with each other. Blaine tells Finn that he sang again with the Warblers and that he should maybe go back. Marley cannot sing with Kitty because she feels uncomfortable wearing a bodysuit. Jake tells Ryder that him being half black/white/Jewish makes him feel uncomfortable. Marley and Kitty in there outfits sing "Holding Out for a Hero". Finn tells the glee club that Blaine is spending the rest of his year at Dalton. Finn makes Ryder go to get some help with him struggling in school. Ryder does all his tests for the specialist and still feels upset that he may be a disappointment to his parents. When Jake try's to be nice to Marley's mom the glee club has to have his back. Jake has to call his brother to get some help on how to deal with Marley. While leaving Sam wants to know why Blaine is leaving so he tells him he cheated on Kurt with a facebook friend. To convince Blaine Sam sings "Heroes" with Blaine. Sam and Blaine steal back the trophy. When Ryder turns down Marley she decides to go out on a date with Jake to the shock of Kitty. The glee club give Finn a new fanny pack he needs to succeed. Everyone ends by singing "Some Nights". The whole superhero idea seemed dumb the whole way through and the episode was too cartoonish. Also no New York stuff was bad because that is my favourite part of the whole show.

EPISODE GRADE: C- (MVP: Chord Overstreet)
