This show does well to produce engaging scenarios for it's stale characters. It has a solid enough base that because the characters are so familiar (in a way) you can forgive the lack of substance and likability. Don't think - just sit back and enjoy the stories. I can't say every story is a hit but for me there are more hits than misses here.

Camp Lakebottom is basic (even for a short). The humour isn't particularly clever, the characters aren't fully developed and while the art work is generally attractive it doesn't hold up against its top flight peers.

But... Despite the feeling that this show has been thrown together on a shoestring budget it is charming in its own basic and very limited way. It's not great - but it is good and I would watch Camp Lakebottom over anything on cartoon network these days.

Why am I giving it that tittle?, well, is clearly not Foodfight or a Video Briquedo film, but it still SUCKS, The main history is lazy in a level that it could be better done by a 10 year old, the episodes plots are cliches, the humor is just fart jokes, I don't even have to explain what's with the animation, and the characters are all and every single one of them cliche, forgettable, and one dimensional, all of what I said shouldn't be posible, but somehow, it is, but don't worry because "It's just for kids" is a really good angument, and If you give the kids always the same crap, they will keep asking for the same crap.

The worst animated show on Disney XD

Wow.

This is a mix of all terrible Disney shows, combined into one cartoon.

First things first. The plots of the show's episode are like a bad parody( And no, sadly, I am not joking). The characters are very bland, cliché and they seem like they are 20 % finished (again, not joking) The humor has more fart jokes than Crash and Bernstein (Another dumb show). I don't recommend you it while you eat, yes, the humor is that gross. The dialog and the script are so cliché it's funny.

The awful plots are from Austin & Ally, the humor is from Crash & Bernstein, and the character blandness is from various other Disney shows! It's like the writers of all of those shows did this show!

Quality cartoons: The Garfield Show, Fairly Odd Parents, Danny Phantom, Rocko's Modern Life, Jimmy Neutron, Gravity Falls, Wonder over Yonder, Code Lyoko, Galactik Football, Kid vs. Kat, Motorcity, TRON:Uprising, TMNT(2003 and 2012), Ducktales, Darkwing Duck, Quack Pack, Dexter's Lab, Johnny Bravo, Top Cat, Tom and Jerry, Codename:KND etc.

Let your kids watch those instead of this trash.

A bad show , with a good plot , but characters , dialogs , episodes , villains etc , VERY BAD , One of the Worst shows for kids TV

To start , The history tells how three kids come by accident to a lonely camp of summer at the other side of the lake of another camp owned by another kid Called butt squat , OK this plot isn't the best but is pretty good ,BUT , the plot is good , The show itself ITS NOT , I'm going to start by characters , characters need a lot improvements , MCGEE is a total A-hole , hes annoying and never learns about his errors , Gretchen seemed to be a good character , but they doesn't did good , they ruin it , Squirt is a pretty good character , but in some episodes Hes annoying , the camp L owner are just stupid , Buttsquat is a pretty ridiculous character , Hes 10 years old , BUT He manages his camp and , this is the best part , He can drive HELICOPTERS , BOATS , ETC , FTW seriously , thats so stupid and false , no child can drive those things , The jokes are boring and improvised , and stupid , every episode are just non senseless , and villains are improvised , i would give it 4 stars , but if you watch it every day like me , you'll see what I'm talking about , and obviously you would hate it , 1 star , Sorry , But Disney XD is making some Hard errors.

I really love this show... Despite being hated for everyone...

I really like this show. It has a classic feeling with a Lot of adventures. The camp has very attractive scenarios and the pacing of every show is smooth. The animation looks nice and some character designs are actually good. And if i can talk about the characters, i really like them and that's why they can Get to be so lovable at some point. If i can talk about the episodes; the majority are pretty fun and entertaining. So yeah, like, this show isn't perfect, it got some issues like disgusting fart jokes and some characters may not be that likable, i still think this show has potential and that's why i love it so much, Even for being a canadian show. So for me this show is great.

ONE OF THE BIGGEST PROBLEMS WITH CAMP LAKEBOTTOM IS THAT IT HAS A "GOOD PREMISE" BUT IT WAS EXECUTED IN AN ATROZ WAY AND I DON'T SAY IT BECAUSE IT IS A GRAVITY FALLS SCAM, I SAY IT FOR THESE REASONS -MCGEE GRETCHEN AND SQUIRT ARE FLAT CHARACTERS YOU DON'T GET TO LOVE YOU, THEY BECOME ANNOYING OCCASIONS -THE EPISODES ARE BADLY PERFORMED AND OCCASIONS BECOME ATROCES AS "PRANKS FOR NOTHING" AND "CAMP LOCKDOWNBOTTOM". AND THE LAST EPISODES DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH THEM

• HUMOR OF FRATULENCIES, OF COURSE THE HUMOR THAT THEY BELIEVE THAT THE CHILDREN SHOULD BE GRACE AND OCCASIONS BECOME GROTESCOS TYPE JOHNNY TEST

-VILLAINS LIKE SUZI BUTTSQUAD AND THE SUNNYSMILERS SHAME AJENA -BUTTSQUAD IS THE TYPICAL SMOOTH AND ARROGANT BOY BUT IT TURNS OUT TO BE AN IMBECIL -THE SAME WITH SUZI THE TYPICAL SISTER WHO HATES HER BROTHER SOMETIMES GETS TO HELP HER BROTHER THE SEASONS OF THE EPISODES ARE MORE OF THE SAME AND IT IS NOTICED THAT ONE SEASON IS WORSE THAN THE OTHER But i gotta say some good things -SAWYER, ARMAND and ROSEBUD ARE THE BEST OF THE SHOW UNTIL THEIR JOKES BECOME MEMORABLE -THE ANIMATION AND DESIGNS ARE NOT SO BAD -THE INTRODUCTION TOPIC IS GOOD -LESS THERE SOME MEMORABLES LIKE LA BANSHEE THE RABBIT VAMPIRE AND THE LIST GOES ON NOT FOR TELLING YOU BUT THIS IS ONE OF THE WORST CANADIAN SHOWS AND I DO NOT THINK OF SEEING THIS SHOW EVER AGAIN BUT IF YOU WANT TO ENTERTAIN MAYBE SOME EPISODES ARE NOT SO BAD

OK i agree that this isn't the best show out there it's got fart jokes,kids driving helicopters and cars,and even lots of things that can kill them but lots of shows are like that. Camp Lazlo was thought funny because of poop jokes, Gravity falls has kids driving golf carts and a giant f**king robot!! I'm not saying that i hate these shows in fact i love them but i hate it when people say "This show sucks because the main characters are 12 year olds and because the main character is an a-hole that doesn't learn from his mistakes.". But they don't say anything about those other shows that are a lot like that like Adventure time,Gravity falls,Rugrats,Spongebob,Star vs the forces of evil, and countless others (again i don't hate these shows). Look what i'm trying to say is stop bitching about shows that have something in common with shows that you like.

Better than Camp Camp

If I want to watch a cartoon about camping with comedy involved, that would be either Camp Lazlo or this, Camp Lakebottom. I could easily say that I remembered watching this show around 2013 or 2014? But unlike other cartoons such as Bunsen is a Beast, this show can teach us about a few good lessons, for which I'm going to say that the main characters, especially the supporting characters and the villains are all fun to watch And I give Camp Lakebottom an 8.5/10
