Top Chef Tom vs. Emeril: Turkeypocalypse
dalydj-918-25517522 November 2012
Warning: Spoilers
The cooks are introduced to guest judge Dana Cowin. The quick fire challenge is to cook a kind of dumpling. The cooks are given the chance to research the different types. When the time is up Kuniko has nothing on her plate. The cooks who struggled were Brooke, Carla and Kuniko. The winner is Josie who now is safe this week. The elimination challenge is a Thanksgiving dinner style for homeless people. They are split into the red and Grey teams (8 cooks each). Then Tom and Emeril come in to join a team each. When everyone gets to the kitchen all the teams start to fight for space in the kitchen. While cooking CJ is happy that he is sober while cooking. Tom and Emeril come in there the end to see how they teams are doing. Carla starts to scream at everyone when they want to see how her soup is going. The judges talk to the leaders of the company the cooks are cooking for. The Grey team are first to present. Next is the red team and before Cj thinks he is the leader looking at everyone's dishes. The unbiased judges decision is that the red (Tom's) team wins. Someone from the Grey (Emeril's) team is leaving and they judges have to come to a decision. Carla, Cj and Lizzie are the top three were they are told the winner is Carla even though the others do not look happy. Tyler, Kuniko, Sheldon and Josie are called out as the bottom. While the judges are speaking to Kuniko she is defended but the judges can only judge her on the potatoes. Kuniko is the one to pack up her knifes and go. When Kuniko leaves the cooks start to fight as one makes fun of Kuniko for not noticing her potatoes were undercooked.

EPISODE GRADE: B- (MVP: Lizzie)
