Julia and Joel: When Victor and Sudney go searching around the house for presents they are found out looking for them. Victor then says Santa is not real which makes Sydney sad. Amber drops by Julia's with some presents, she is told about what happened to Ryan at the construction site. Victor keeps telling everyone Santa is not real so Zeek tells all the kids his story about meeting Santa so everyone will believe again. While everyone is convinced Victor still has his doubts.
Ryan and Amber: Ryan is staying to spend Christmas with Amber's whole family. Ryan comes home so Amber decides to talk to him about the time at the construction site. He says it was a mess from the beginning and he did not handle it well. Amber tells Ryan to talk to Joel because he is understanding. Amber calls Ryan but no answer has her worried where he is. Ryan comes back home drunk not even talking to Joel. The two start to fight and Ryan leaves in anger. Everyone opens they're Christmas presents and Amber gets a text that Ryan is outside. He apologizes to her for being so cruel in his actions. She tells him she loves him and she says she cannot look after someone like her mom did with her father. She leaves him standing there.
Sarah: Even though not with Mark anymore Sarah sends the card with him in the picture. While at work Sarah is not getting on well with the customers so is put next to Santa. Sarah shares a drink with Hank where they both complain about their problems of being alone on Christmas. Hank and Sarah sleep together and afterward the silence is very present when neither says anything just thinking it was weird. Hank comes to see Sarah and she invites him in to celebrate with the family but he says no.
Adam and Kristina: Haddie is having trouble getting a plane while Kristina wants this to be the best Christmas ever. Kristina wakes up in the night with a fever leading Adam to bring Kristina to the doctor even though it is Christmas eve. Crosby has to take care for the baby while Adam and Kristina are in the hospital. Kristina is rushed off because she her stats were making loud noises. Kristina is not getting checked on because of the holidays. The checking doctor thinks Kristina's organs could be failing at the moment. Kristina wakes up and seems very weak. Zeek try's to comfort Adam who asks him to stay at the hospital with him. Adam watches a video Kristina made where she talks about everyone in her family. It makes Adam cry and pray Kristina is OK. Adam wakes up to see that Kristina is OK giving her a call from Haddie. The family all goes into to celebrate Christmas with Kristina and even Haddie makes it.
Crosby and Jasmine: The two celebrate their first Christmas together after getting married. While Crosby takes care of Max all he wants to do is go shopping. Zeek comes by and finds out Adam is at the hospital with Kristina. After the whole family are told the news of Kristina everyone seems in disbelieve with Jasmine and Kristina sad about the news but holding out hope in the story Kristina. Jasmine says she wants to have another baby but also he does as well.
Fine episode with some sad and moving moments. Kristina is so my favourite character and I hate what she is going through.
