The Abduction

Tom is having an argument with Marina when Hal assaults her and kidnaps him. However, Maggie do not let them leave the town shooting at their truck and Hal points a gun to his father and goes to a derelict building. Hal wants to know what the Volm are building. Weaver tries to save them both but Tector is ready to put Hal down.

"Be Silent and Come Out" is an episode of "Falling Skies" where Tom shows how distempered he is. Marina Peralta would be a better and better president instead of Tom. The use of alien technology to save Hal is a great moment of the show. My vote is seven.

Nightmare on Spielberg Street

The show soldiers on. Spielberg's pull is incredible to keep this idiocy on air. Just how much did the TNT CEO lost in the latest poker game... I wonder.

There are now TWO presidents of the... well, two United States. Aliens are building some kind of weapon, which Dr. House's best friend Robert Sean Leonard thinks is not the weapon they say it is. Snot and tears are shed in larger quantities than even bullets. NB: Maxim Knight shed a REALLY big tear on screen. That kid is a GENIUS! Or maybe Spielberg just told him there are two more seasons to go after this one, and his contract is double notarized.

Crap-du-jour 1: The "engineer" is said to be "agoraphobic" and has to stay in the basement because of his condition. Yet he wills himself to go out in the open to help blow up... a nuclear reactor. Which, by the way, is controlled by two tiny wires that the protagonist successfully connects under the control panel. Man, I wish we had this guy at Three Mile Island. The grief we'd save!

Crap-du-jour 2: A very dangerous surgery is about to be performed on the older of three brothers. His family stands behind the glass to watch it. Suddenly, the Daddy says to his middle son: "Get your brother out of here". So it's okay for the kid to watch his older brother struggle tied to a gurney but not the curing process. Mind you, the brother in question has seen (and caused!) more blood than the most average American sees in his entire childhood. He is actually carrying a long rifle in that very scene!!!

I failed to understand why in almost every TV show or a movie it is shown, woman appointed as President of United States but in reality a woman never hold the office of the presidency of the US. Likewise it is shown in this episode a woman appointed as the president of the new United States is totally against the history of the country but still we see woman selected president. Please stop showing what you cannot achieve in reality, thanks.
