I hardly ever write reviews for individual episodes of tv shows, however, I had to make an exception with this one. Okay, it may not be the most well-written episode of the series (I think more of that is in season 1 if I'm being honest), but what's impressing me the most is the animation. Before checking out this show, you know I had to watch the original to see what I'm comparing the reboot/sequel to. While watching the original though, I began to develop a worry that the animation being very expressive and of its time (in a good way) wouldnt get translated into the new show and would end up being being polished but lacking wide character expressions. That worry has been put to rest and particularly in this episode where we get shots where you can tell care and attention went into giving characters extra frames for wider expressions. To reiterate the title of this review, while the writing from the show can range from good and okay, the animation at least delivers.
