David Hasselhoff has spoken about his reservations over the upcoming Baywatch movie.
Paramount Pictures recently announced plans to make a new film version of the classic TV show starring Dwayne Johnson.
Hasselhoff - who played Mitch Buchannon in the original series from 1989 to 2000 - revealed to Digital Spy that the update has yet to be written.
"The biggest update that I got from the horse's mouth is that the script hasn't been written yet," he said. "Who knows? I wouldn't been surprised if I opened up the papers tomorrow morning and it says Baywatch: The Movie."
The actor explained that he would have preferred to have continued the franchise himself, adding that he hopes it doesn't turn into a "spoof".
"They'll probably make it into a spoof, the same thing [happened] with Knight Rider," he continued.
"It's kind of sad, because I would like to have seen the franchises go on,...

There aren't many people in Hollywood cooler than the affable and self-deprecating Anna Kendrick.
So in the name of work, Digital Spy scoured the internet for all things Kendrick-related, and the end result is a compilation of various facts about the 5'2" actress that you may not have previously known. And yes, one is 'Cups'-related.
1. Anna Kendrick was born in Portland, Maine on August 9, 1985. Her mother is an insurance accountant, her father was a history teacher before moving to finance as well, and her older brother Michael once appeared in a 2000 independent film named Looking for an Echo. The family has English, Irish and Scottish ancestry.
2. What were you doing at the age of 12? For Kendrick, she was starring in Broadway musical High Society and impressed so much that she bagged a Tony Award nomination, becoming the second-youngest nominee ever at the time. But despite the achievement, she was never one to brag.

Set for a November 26 release date, DreamWorks has revealed the first The Penguins of Madagascar trailer, giving you a first look at the Madagascar spin-off, featuring the only characters from the Madagascar movies worth laughing at. Question is, will this be a case of "too much of a good thing"c I didn't watch the trailer myself, but apparently Benedict Cumberbatch voices a wolf named Classified who leads a covert protective force of animals that includes the explosives expert Short Fuse (Ken Jeong), intelligence analyst Eva (Annet Mahendru), and Norwegian bear Corporal (Peter Stormare). Also in the voice cast you have John Malkovich, Andy Richter, Tom McGrath, Chris Miller and Christopher Knights. Check out the trailer and a second picture (via Digital Spy) below. yt id="RBCJXKJi0BA" width="640"...

You can say many things of Benedict Cumberbatch, but that he lacks range is not one of them. In the last year or so, the British actor has played an insane, murderous superman in space, a Southern slave owner, Julian Assange, Alan Rickman (in an episode of "The Simpsons"), Meryl Streep's nephew, the world's greatest detective, and a big fuck-off dragon. And that's not about to change, it appears, as the actor's latest role is as an animated wolf. Cumberbatch is lending his voice to "The Penguins Of Madagascar," the fourth film in DreamWorks Animation's "Madagascar" franchise, and the first spin-off, based on the special-ops-aping flightless birds that featured in the first three films (and in a TV series), and Digital Spy has the first trailer for the film. Cumberbatch plays a wolf called Classified (the jokes literally write themselves), who heads up a secret unit of animals...

Benedict Cumberbatch leads the voice cast of the DreamWorks spinoff, playing a suave wolf named Classified who leads a covert protective force of animals.
The force also includes the seal Short Fuse (Ken Jeong), an explosives expert; snow owl Eva (Annet Mahendru), an intelligence analyst; and hulking Norwegian bear Corporal (Peter Stormare), who constantly wants to embrace his four new bird friends.
John Malkovich, Andy Richter, Tom McGrath and Chris Miller are also among the voice cast of the film, which is an off-shoot of the Madagascar film series.
The series' penguin characters already star in their own spinoff TV series, which debuted on Nickelodeon in 2008.

If it had somehow escaped your notice – in which case, come on out from under that rock – the Oscars are almost upon us again.

Actor-comedian Moshe Kasher has been cast opposite Rob Corddry and Mason Cook in ABC’s comedy pilot Spy, about Tim (Corddry), a well-intentioned father of a highly intelligent and verbal son (Cook) who inadvertently takes a job at the Secret Service in order to prove himself a worthy father. Kasher, repped by 3 Arts and Wme, will play Tim’s co-worker Chris. He is currently writing on The New Normal. Malcolm In The Middle alum Chris Masterson co-stars opposite Jeffery Tambor in Amazon Studios’ comedy pilot, The Onion Presents: The News, a fast-paced scripted comedy set behind the scenes of The Onion News Network. Masterson plays rookie reporter Scott West, who joins the team full of hope and idealism but quickly learns from the demented Onn ensemble that the world of network news is more about selling soda and sunscreen and kidnapping cute white girls to get ratings, than uncovering actual news.

Comedian and writer Moshe Kasher has joined the cast of the ABC pilot "Spy." Kasher, a comedian, memoirist and writer on NBC's "The New Normal," will play a coworker of Rob Corddry. Corrdry plays a man who inadvertently takes a job at the secret service in order to prove himself a worthy father to his extremely inteligent son. Kasher last year released the memoir "Kasher in the Rye," about his efforts to fit in at a predominantly black Oakland, Calif., school as the child of deaf Jews. He soon found himself forming...

While there’s obviously nothing official yet about another season for Community (other than the official notification you just received to let you know, officially, there’s nothing official yet), should the show continue, it could see some definite Chang-es—which is the sort of joke you might be seeing less of, should Ken Jeong defect to ABC's Spy. Jeong has signed on to the U.S. adaptation of the British comedy of the same name, where Rob Corddry will star as a man who accidentally bumbles his way into working for the Secret Service in an attempt to ...

First it sounded like genius, then absolute madness. Deadline reports that ABC is thinking of giving Once Upon a Time's Mad Hatter a spin-off. The project hit a wall when it turned out that Sebastian Stan was unavailable to commit to a series... so then ABC decided it could just recast Sebastian Stan. Really, ABC? Really?
At this point, I'm willing to recommend just about any article that praises Enlightened, a difficult-to-love show from Mike White that's completely worth the effort. It may be great, but it's future remains a big question mark, which is frustrating because, as the Av Club explains it, Enlightened is TV's best show right now.

While Jeong says that Community will remain his primary focus, he's hedging his bets with a role in the new ABC comedy pilot Spy, where he'll play lead actor Rob Corddry's CIA colleague. Based on The Hollywood Reporter's description, the character sort of sounds like Señor Chang's secret service doppelgänger: "A mischievous man" who is "erratic, incorrigible and inappropriate with his fellow agents" and "[losing] his marbles." It seems like a good fit, since "erratic" and "inappropriate" are clearly what Jeong does best.

"Community" and "The Hangover" co-star Ken Jeong has booked a role in an ABC comedy pilot. Jeong will play a character called "The Examiner," an increasingly eccentric CIA agent. For the time being, "Spy" will be in second position to "Community" on Jeong's dance...
