not that bad, definitely NOT another cable sitcom

Bbraat:

You really think Frank went through with it getting into bed with those two 6 foot young guys with the pillow covering his lower half. He was exposed and thrown out of the hotel. So therefore the guy trying to convince him to go hetero did= not need him anymore either. Easy to predict.

Lip took 1.5 years to finish his senior year, that's two seasons.

Ian is not 18, so he used his brother's ID to get in, showing he's 18. And since he has ROTC experience and came in wearing camos, he was very convincing.

His family hates what Frank does on a daily basis, and hates that he drinks so much, but you only have 1 father in this world, and they want to help him when it's absolutely necessary. Look what happened when Granny finally died, they were glad she was gone, but were still very sad.

Did the writers of this episode not see the previous episode? This show is getting like a sitcom in that no matter what happens during an episode, everything returns to baseline at the beginning of the next episode. Frank was a famous gay-rights advocate at the end of the previous episode. he was also going to be a famous cured-gay. In this episode for some reason he is homeless and about to die. Like Queer as Folk and Oz this is another cable show with potential that can't seem to figure out what it wants to be. For how long has Lip been in his senior year of high school? For how many years has the baby been a baby? Last time I checked the Army didn't take recruits, even if they were 18, without checking criminal history, fingerprints, etc. One week Frank is banned from the house, the next they all have to get together to help Frank. Rinse and repeat. This show is starting to remind me of Laverne and Shirley.

The Gallagher men seem a mess with Ian turning into an alcoholic, Lip having his girlfriend hit his ex with a car, Carl unaware of how bad Frank is for him, Jimmy being in big trouble with some foreigners and Frank just always a mess with maybe some goodness at the end of the episode. Fiona, Debbie and Liam need nothing to be said about them as they were quite happy even though Fiona may have lost Jimmy for good. Back to Lip and the way the show handled Karen's injuries was hard to watch because I felt so sorry for the character and it was emotional which lead to Lip finally letting the crazy Mandy go. Ian is slowly turning into Frank because of his drinking and someone needs to save him. Carl needs to grow up soon because he let's his dad get away with so much even almost getting him arrested. Jimmy seems like he could be killed soon which I think could be a good thing because that character is a weak part to the show and needs to leave now. A good episode for the show and it seems so much could happen in the finale next week like what will happen to the Gallagher men.
