I enjoyed this journey through Argentina: the tango, the soccer, the gauchos and beautiful landscapes of Argentina.
Some words about Buenos Aires: Nora Broglio shows the historical center to the tourists: the Palace of Justice, the Torre of the Miradores: she speaks about the bookshops in this town (the Grand Splendid) and then the Theater Colón where the spectators can see a 3 hours opera for the price of a cup of coffee and twice one months there are gratis performances.
Then we see Puerto Madero a new neighbourhood (new buildings in the docks) and we arrive at the market of Mataderos: many people go to this place on Sundays: the singer Arnaldo Zurdo Suarez is there every Sunday and sings a song; Juan Bautiste Canavesi, the manager of the market who came from Ushaia enjoys his new life in Buenos Aires.
Later we join the salt flats: Mirta Alencay and Walter are salt producers. We see the "Pristine Salinas Grandes Luxury Camp" at 3.000 meters over the sea level: Silvio Manino Leal is the manager of this camp: Mariana del Rio, the cook explains that cooking at this altitude is an experience: she has prepared for the guests llama meat.
There is another interesting hotel: the Hotel of the Bodega de Colomé in the middle of a great vineyard: the estate was founded in 1831 and is the oldest bodega of Argentina: the owners brought from France the Malbec and Cabernet-Sauvignon varieties: the oenologist Thibaut Delmotte shows to the guests the original Malbec plant and organizes a wine tasting (Torrontes de Colomé white wine).
In Argentina the people live a great passion for the soccer: in the neighbourhood of "La Boca" there are many paintings of Diego Maradona: in the public parks young and old person are showing their players cards. Besides Damian Cukierkorn has a collection of 3.000 pictures of Maradona.
Belén Morelli, a soccer coach is promoting the feminine soccer at Central Norte and hopes that the local governments will dedicate more spaces for the for the feminine soccer.
At the National Park "Los Cardones" there re many cactus: Lucas Bustos , a biologist and Rosaura Garr , a park ranger are observing the guanacos and the Andean condors.
At Buenos Aires the Foundation "Bioandina" is a rescue center for the Andean condors: Luis Jácome and his team are taking care for the injured condors and have also a breeding program (artificial incubation).
The polo is another important sport in Argentina: Elena Fleming , the president of the "Fundación Equinoterapia del Azul" explains that the horse therapy has been a very useful therapy for her son.
Finally we meet Rodolfo Reich, a culinary journalist who shows the "choripan" and speak about the beef in Argentina (there are 53 millions of cows for about 40 millions of inhabitants: we visit with him the restaurant "El Pobre Luis" where Pelé, Zidane and other famous soccer players have eaten el asado. Mirna Marlene Baez Cabrera and Macarena Zavza are butchers and now prepares asado for their families (this Argentinian meal has been traditionnally made by men).
I enjoyed the encounters of Ismaël with Elise Barbot (La boca, the tango), with Santos Manferdi (the salt flat, the llamas), with Javier Baldoni and his family at Aldea Luna, with Alejandro Schaaaf the researcher at Aldea Luna and with Agustin Arias in the Estancia "El Bordo de las Lanzs (horseback riding ), very nice encounters with very kind Argentinian men and women.
