Hollywood actors and writers may be on the picket line, due to the many issues they have with various studios and networks, but they can’t really say that all streamers aren’t reporting how their shows and movies are faring. That’s exactly what Netflix has been doing each and every week with the Top 10 charts for the week of July 10, giving a detailed report on its current films and series, as “The Lincoln Lawyer” took the top spot for the latter and the sci-fi sequel “Bird Box Barcelona” entered the charts.
We’ll begin with the latter, since “Bird Box Barcelona” is the sequel to one of Netflix’s biggest hits, 2018’s “Bird Box” starring Sandra Bullock, the streamer’s fourth most-watched feature film ever. In this case, as the title implies, the post-apocalyptic action has been moved to Spain, and thusly, it charted on the non-English film...

After two weeks reigning over Netflix’s English-language series, Season 3 of The Witcher has been dethroned. The Lincoln Lawyer Season 2 is the new champ for the week of July 10 to July 16 with 8.3M views across five episodes.
The first five episodes hit Netflix on July 6 and debuted at No. 2 on the list last week. The latter half of the season is set to release in August.
Audiences were also catching up with Manuel Garcia-Rulfo’s Mickey Haller in Season 1 of the legal drama, which soared to No. 5 on the English-language list with 3.4M views.
The Witcher didn’t fall far from its top spot, though it did experience a fairly significant decrease in viewership week-over-week. The first half of Season 3 is currently sitting in second place with 6.7M views, which is about half of the week prior’s nearly 14M views.

Netflix has brought forth a thought-provoking documentary titled Unknown: Killer Robots, which provides a chilling depiction of the pervasive use of AI technology in military industries, research, and studies. While AI offers numerous useful functions and advancements, it also carries with it the potential for unintended consequences and adverse effects, including the potential for the harm and loss of human life.
In the documentary, the filmmakers highlight the dual nature of AI’s presence in our lives. On the one hand, AI has become a mundane and integral part of our daily routines. From voice assistants that help us manage our schedules to personalized recommendation algorithms that suggest movies and products, AI is deeply embedded in our digital interactions.
However, Unknown: Killer Robots unveils the darker side of AI’s intrusion into our lives, particularly in the context of war. The documentary explores how military technologists have eagerly embraced AI to enhance their operational capabilities.
