I didn't expect much from the 2022 series redux, but each of the past 2 seasons have exceeded my expectations prior to this episode. Stolen Valor may have made light of the significance of sacrifices made by combat vets, but aside from that, a few jokes landed along the way. Overall, it was one of the weaker half episodes so far in season 2. The big turnoff for me was Breeding Frenzy. Another episode about raccoons seemed a little unnecessary, but raccoons can be funny, so no harm/no foul if it's actually funny. So we get more of Beavis getting injured, which has been an ongoing theme and felt pretty predictable this time around. The boys waiting at a dog park just to see one of them poop crossed the too puerile to be funny threshold for me...but the part that really lost me was a seemingly well behaved dog being mauled in a fight with the raccoon. I just don't see the humor in that in any capacity. I will give the next episode a chance, but for the first time since the reboot, I'm no longer eagerly looking forward to it.
