The perfect and well written ending to an epic story. Bass Reeves had over 3000 arrests so they could go on and on for a decade making episodes but if this is going to be the final one, it ties things up nicely.
Bass was one of the most clever Marshalls, who used disguises and fake names to hunt down and arrest wanted criminals and his cleverness is shown in this epiosde. Sorry no spoilers. The episode also deals with so many subjects that were going on during the post civil war era, of which was the black family finding their place in society, struggle against racism and bigotry and just the growing pains of America.
Amazing acting performances from every one on this show. Hope they make more but if this is the last one, I am satisfied.
