Chennai, Oct 7: Model-turned-actress Pooja Hegde, who made her cinematic debut with Tamil action-drama "Mugamoodi", is likely to romance Akkineni Naga Chaitanya in his upcoming yet-untitled Telugu film to be helmed by Vijay Kumar Konda.
"We have been looking for a fresh face and Pooja fits the bill. We have almost confirmed her, but are yet to make an official announcement. It is expected to happen anytime soon," Vijay Kumar told Ians.
Pooja is a former Miss Universe India second runnerup.
"The film will be a romantic entertainer like my last film. We are expected to start shooting from November onwards," he added.
Konda rose to fame with a successful Telugu directorial debut "Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde",.

"Leading producers from Tamil have already expressed interest in the remake. Talks are on with multiple producers, but in all probability, it will be remade in Tamil by the same producers who made the film in Telugu," a source from the film's unit told Ians.
