The show opens with Ludvig Borga and Scott Steiner cutting promos on each other. Borga and Steiner then face off in the ring, in what may have been the best match of Borga's career (that isn't saying much). We see a Jeff Jarrett vignette outside the historic Ryman Auditorium. Men On a Mission squash Steve Smith and Corey Student. Todd Pettengill gives the Survivor Series Report, which includes a Bret Hart promo. We see a PSA featuring the Undertaker. Rick Martel makes short work of John Paul (who should have a tag team partner named George Ringo). Crash was supposed to have the next match, but Randy Savage attacked him. The main event is Bob Backlund versus Barry Horowitz, but we don't see the ending of the match, because we cut to Savage and Crush resuming their brawl. This is a largely forgettable episode.
