I could not get the ending
tomokoi4 September 2017
Augusto fell in love with Nastenka and Veronica like Augusto. Nastenka told Augusto that she would not want to get married and have children in her life because it would be very boring. However, she did both with her boyfriend who was not dependable to her. On the other hand, Veronica was cooking for Augusto and she took a kind of a caretaker role for Augusto. Augusto thought Veronica was looking for marriage to become a housewife, but Veronica preferred casual dating to marriage. Veronica appeared to be conservative, but she was more liberal. Nastenka appeared to be more liberal and she wanted to be an actress, but she could not give up her boyfriend who was not always good to her. Augusto felt powerless over Nastenka. He died of food poisoning from Sardine. At the end, he was sitting at the bench he used to see Nastenka and he was finding a new girl again. He was repeating this. However, I could not get what he was repeating. Is he repeating romance which does not go anywhere or is he still searching his soulmate? I could not get what he was searching for.

Augusto goes to the coast
ksf-28 March 2017
Warning: Spoilers
The latest project written and directed by Marcelo González. Augusto (Flavio Medina) goes on holiday, and rents a studio on the coast of Mexico. We're twenty minutes in, and that's about all we know about him. We DID see a mother figure appear in his mirror and nag for a moment, but not much learned from that. One thing I noticed is that some camera shots appear enhanced, or airbrushed in many places, like a dream. This is especially obvious the first time they sit down together to have drinks... a glow around their eyes and shoulders... even the street lights. This one is moves pretty slow.....as of today, it still shows "IN PRODUCTION" on IMDb, so clearly it hasn't been updated in a L O N G time... Augusto meets a girl saving up money to get OUT of the resort town. Augusto falls for her, but she's waiting for her novio to come back. What if he never comes back? What if he does? All very ethereal. Some twists along the way. A little mysterious, but well done, overall. Those who want very clear explanations will probably not like this one.

Characters are so good but..
krmnberil18 August 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Film's characters are so successful when acting and it includes amazing views from Spain / Madrid but the story is not comprehensible at all. I expected there would be an happy ending but there was not. There are some disconnections in the film. August's passing away shouldn't be just because of a canned sardines or Nastenka was dreaming about acting training in Europe and never wanting to married with children but she did what she didn't want to did. I think there should be a more satisfying ending. These characters are get wasted in this film.
