- Many sexual gags revolve around Pigeon. Though he appears to be a regular pigeon with no genitalia, it is implied that he has a penis through dialogue and a non-graphic and brief depiction of masturbation.
- Many sexual innuendos.

- Blood, injuries, & death, all of which is meant to be funny Some nonhuman characters are scary & threatening Punching, kicking & hitting in physical exchanges.

- "Fuck" is used to the point the series could pass off as a TV-MA series, but as they're all bleeped it remains as TV-14. Unlike most modern Adult Swim shows, the show remains bleeped even on streaming prints, but the DVDs are 100% uncensored.
- Pigeon swears the most out of everyone in the series. Every other word he says is vulgar.
- "Ass", "asshole", "hell", "damn", & "bitch", "Fuck" is bleeped, & "shit" is bleeped in some context but not in othere.
- Very occasional uses of "Cunt". The word is bleeped out as well in the show while the DVD once again has the word uncensored.

- Adult characters drink beer Pigeon's consumption hints at his having an alcohol addiction, as he always turns to it when he's depressed.
