I don't think there is a single human being alive on this Earth, living or dead who has more talent at dreaming up the most cringe inducing situations for comedic pleasure than Larry David. You would think that after 12 seasons of this formula the bits would start to become stale or the material would just run out but incredibly David's genius mind contains an inexaustible virtually unlimited supply of original content in which to showcase completely novel situattiations showcasing the most hilarious and cringe-worthy comedy gold. This episode was no exception.
From the text-chains-from-hell, to the housekeeper's "trowmah," to the sweatshirt string (I mean who hasn't had one of those come off a sweatshirt at least once? Leave it to David to figure out a way to make a comedy bit out of it!), to the desert bite size threshold for sending it back.....etc etc.... it's just honestly stupefying to watch this level of comedic quality episode after episode after episode, year after year after year without any noticeable drop in quality. If you ask me "Curb Your Enthusiasm" is without a doubt Larry David's true Magnum Opus, not Seinfeld.
