Began as a feature-length horror film that spun off of a short film entitled "Boozerun" about an amateur witch that coaxes and eventually harasses a young woman into debauchery. the feature-length version included a Halloween party at which the amateur witches were attempting to murder young men to make their witch's brew.
The witch's brew was actually made from a dead flowers, an VHS tape, two shots of rum, fake blood, and an organic apple. It was brewed on Ocotober 31st. It resulted in a burn on director Joshua Michael Dorsey's arm the night before filming.
Filmed on November 1st after several weeks of gathering footage of pumpkins on people's porches in the director's adjacent neighborhood.
The masks used were vintage 1950's Ben Cooper masks.
One scene cut from to film showed Shelly and Leigh picking actual rotten apples from a tree in a nearby neighborhood. The location can be seen in the end credits.
