There is a small scene after the credits where Robert Hays' character says to Fin "Good luck we are all counting on you" in reference to one of the most famous lines from "Airplane!" (1980) in which Hays had the lead role.
In the home media version, before the credits roll, there are some outtakes shown, presenting the main cast.
Near the end of the film when the fireworks start some lights on the building spell the word "fin" which is the main character's name but it also means "(an) end" in French and Spanish.
In the FOX International TV version, the credits roll at standard speed over a black background, and after them comes the stinger, a short scene with Fin eating some pizza.
Near the end of the credits roll: "No real sharks were used or harmed in the making of this film."
In the TV version the end credits roll extremely fast over the main character eating a slice of pizza.
