As the war continues, all German goods are taken off the shelves at Selfridge's in favor of British-made goods. Harry is approached by Bill Summertime, an intelligence officer, asking Harry if he is serious about helping with the war effort. Summertime suggests that as he is an American, Harry could travel to Germany and obtain valuable information for them. Victor meanwhile opens his heart to Agnes. He not only proposes that she join him in running his family's restaurant but ahas another proposal as well. Thackeray is continuing his vendetta against Henri Leclair, telling Mr. Groves that Henri's loyalty may be in question. Miss Mardle proposes her Belgian lodger as a violinist for a concert but it leads to raised eyebrows all around when people realize that the refugee is a man. With casualties rising, Harry decides to take up Summertime's offer.
