Great Stuff

I've seen Danny Bhoy on TV before on specials where he does the 3 minute specials and I've always thought he was OK as a Stand Up comedian until I saw Subject To Change. This is hilarious. His view on the world and his stories about his life is refreshing. While it may not be one for the kiddies as he does discuss adult themes such as drinking, he is a very funny man. He does use a lot of different accents and is very good at them. Being from Australia, he certainly does a good and funny accent. I actually recommended this special to friends and they absolutely loved him as well. He may be not the greatest Stand Up Comedian the world has ever seen but I recommended him wholeheartedly and think you will get a kick out of his very funny and unique look on the world.

Not quite as family-friendly as Netflix says but still quite funny

I have only reviewed a few stand-up DVDs--mostly because it's so difficult to really review such a film. In the case of this Danny Bhoy stand-up routine I am doing it mostly because of how Netflix currently markets this film. They describe it as 'mostly family-friendly' and most folks would assume his humor would be PG level. But a LOT of his routine involves talking about genitals, cursing and the like. Now it's no more than most other comics--so I am NOT attacking Bhoy. Plus, he was funny and I enjoyed the film. But family-friendly? No...unless your family has a very, very high threshold for this sort of stuff. My advice is that it's more a parents-only sort of film--enjoyable but a bit crude and not something you'd probably want to show grandma and the kids.

Hilarious, underrated comedian

Very underrated comedian I am surprised he doesn't have his own big network specials like on Netflix. If you haven't seen him, check him out. Doesnt rely on vulgarity for humour. Smart, cheeky, witty comedy that's good natured and laugh-out-loud.

Third fave stand up comedian

Im very proud of my scottish heritage so when i was around 10 years old i watched one of his specials with my mom and dad and i loved him. His accents, movements and simple yet in-depth jokes/punchlines in this special makes him one of the best all around comedians without a doubt. When he came to canada to tour i made sure to see him live. Id recommend this special or him to anyone looking for a good laugh.
