The Sally and Lisa characters (both played by Madison Renteria) were never filmed with anyone else in any shots since she left town before scenes with Stephanie Kahler were scheduled.
All mariachi music used in the film were traditional pieces pulled from the public domain.
The film was entirely shot in under 2 hours on separate days.
Much like the twins footage, director Christopher Kahler played both characters in the telenovella bit when another actor dropped out the day before the film premiere.
