5 🌟 only for the couple

I literally skipped every part that didn't envolve them. They falling in love during this series saved the day and made it bearable to follow their story. The writers did a very poor job, the ending is a mess, it seems done in a hurry. But Kadir and Neslihan make it feel so real, that Macit and Neriman are hard to forget as lovebirds.

Very frustrating

Warning: Spoilers
I don't think I've ever watched such an oppressed and controlling series. The father of the main character is so controlling over his daughters life it's sickening. She's an adult and needs permission to leave the house.

These village folk are so backwards and old fashioned. It made for really hard viewing sometimes. Most of the series I fast forwarded a lot of the scenes that didn't have the main characters in it. This storyline of unrequited love gets really annoying. How can you stoop so low and be so desperate for someone that doesn't love you back. I wish the main character was a bit stronger and stood up to her father. He showed more disrespect to the way he treated her.

Pretty sure it just ended as there were still some loose ends.

Overall it's an ok series but wouldn't recommend it.

Watching for the main characters only

Warning: Spoilers
Only at episode 3 and I'm so angry at this series. What sick culture to force a girl to marry her rapist...to be raped over and over again! And she still hugs them! Her family could see he doesn't respect or care for her, yet they still forced her because what people say are more important than the feelings of their own family member. They didn't even give her a chance to explain to them. Seems like it is the girl's fault if a man is a bastard. And the way all the men treat the women had the steam coming out my ears! And the women have so little value in their own eyes (mothers giving that message to their daughters...women are lower than pond-scum and your feelings don't matter). They degrade themselves, apologising for the mistakes men make as though they, the women made it...geez. A guy loses his sht and hammers on a door of the woman he claims to love (love doesn't look like that) and the father wants to marry his daughter off to that maniac because he is afraid of what people will think!!! That maniac will eat his teeth and never be able to speak to my daughter again, not even allowed to look in her direction. This culture is insane.

Only 1 female can do what she wants...Pelin.

Beautiful love story. The best !

A wonderful series about pure love, reminiscent of a little story about Cinderella. The girl Neriman lives with her father and aunt in a poor district of Istanbul and one day accidentally receives an invitation to a party to her rich cousin, who is madly in love with a beautiful glamorous major named Magid.

The level of stupid is beyond
emmaandersson-8497310 September 2023
It is impossible to stand the feeling of watching Grounshog day with how stupid, loud, nosy and seamingly slowly developed (dumb) the female leads best friend is. It is never ending. And the back and forth in absurdum with the female lead getting calls or texts and her friend literally behaves like she is both slow and shrill. It is too hard to get trough how that is repeated. One of the most annoying turkish series I've seen due to that. Otherwise the female lead and male lead are good actors and have chemistry. But it can not hold up the back and forth of stupidity. Too bad really. Because them as a couple could so more for a show.

The couple of actors Kadir and Neslihan are amazing! Kadir brings a prominent character. In each series, he highlights his human nature, which intertwines with his kind appearance. He plays this role with professionalism and mastery. He is one of the best Turkish actors.
