Climbing back up

If you've followed some of my other reviews for HIMYM S9 you'd catch what the title meant, now although this wasn't too great of a comeback it was pretty good considering the rest of this season. The beginning of this episode was off to a rough start and some other spots between this episode, but through and through this episode wasn't half bad. The humor of this season continues to disappoint but some also manage to fit with this show, like the music in the car. The end gave us a future look two years into Ted's future which was a very big moment in Ted's life that many HIMYM viewers wanted to see. As we continue in this season I hope it'll only get better and we continue to get more insights on Ted's and the mother's story.

Same dull and boring....

HIMYM's quality is continuously degrading. My hopes lighten up after seeing the fifth episode but after that every episode seems to be extended. They should never have come up with idea of premiering season 9 solely based on the wedding. Except two episodes, none of the episodes is at a par quality as of the previous seasons. With Season 9 coming, we all had high hopes but considering the 8 Seasons, I wish this one do not end in a manner that make us to forget all the fun we had watching the previous 8 seasons. HIMYM Season 9 was highly anticipated but this is not we were waiting for! Concluding, I want to say that HIMYM is losing its touch!

The Lighthouse (#9.8)

This episode Ted goes up the lighthouse. And we also get to see at the end of the episode how he proposed there to the mother two years later. I can see those being important moments but for some reason I am not really happy for him about her.

The episode is still great. We have Robin continuing to fight with Loretta that is an especially fun character this season. And this also leads to some sweet moments when Loretta sees the importance of Robin to Barney and takes her as the daughter.

My favorite story is though Marshall and Daphne traveling. Clint being with them also adds to the fun.

HIMYM or: How I Learned to Stop Being Awesome and Ruin the Show

Show started very impressive... back at then. Very long time ago. I can't tell when exactly but somewhere at season 4 show started to being absurd. Then jokes faded away slowly. Then Ted faded away. After one point show became "How Barney and Robin 'AWWWWW"ed Each Other". I didn't give up, I thought may be they can continue where they left off, but no, they didn't.

Writers started to make silly mistakes, Lily got much more annoying - I mean, do you really find her sweet? Funny? She is probably the most annoying person on TV. With all stupid faces and interfering others lives, I know everything and I can do whatever I want with your life behaviors... Gosh.

And at season 9... Oh my, what we got? 20 minutes nothing and lots of "Thank you, Linus"es. Please stop it. It is not funny. It was never funny. Maybe the first one we heard it but please, stop already.

Every episode is the same: Barney and Robin fights, one of them apologizes, then they make "AWWWWWW" and some make out at random place, credits. Where is your creativity guys?

I'm watching this because this is the last season and I wasted a lot of times with it -yeah, silly me. But if someone asks me what am I thinking about this show, answer is ready: "NO."

For me, the humor in How I Met Your Mother is hit or miss, and in this episode, there were a lot of misses. This episode is a follow-up to Knight Vision as Robin fights with Barney's mom prior to the wedding, and Ted mops around for being alone. Personally, a lot of the jokes didn't land, and it felt like they were trying too hard. With that said, there were some sweet character moments for Barney, Robin, and Ted at the End. Anna Camp reruns as Cassie. However, this time she doesn't have as much to work with as her, and Ted's story isn't given as much time as some of the other characters. Also, I think Ted's relationship with Cassie is still. She didn't sleep with him in the first episode because she was going through a lot, so now they can never be together? That just rubs me the wrong way. With that said, I did find Ted having to carry Cassie up to the top of the lighthouse funny. All in all, there were some, and I love Anna Camp. They just didn't use her to her full potential.
