Change in tone, chess pieces moving slowly
A_Different_Drummer13 January 2015
Watching this episode I made some notes:

* the King is the most important chess piece but he only moves one square at a time. In this episode, which has a little less edge than we have seen so far, you know the writers are planning a larger move, and somehow that seems more important that the events of the story

* Spader has already shown himself to be a film actor giving an acting clinic to his TV ensemble cast. The highlight of this episode is Diane Weist, yet another film alumnus. She doesn't get a lot of air time but what they give her she makes the most of. There is one bit of dialog where, in her delivery, she actually raises her voice. "If you did your job .... then I wouldn't have to do mine." Brings back memories of the great TV dramas of the 1950s where they borrowed actors directly from Broadway Solid.

One Last Chance
Hitchcoc7 November 2022
This episode involves a woman (played by Dianne Wiest) who heads a group to save those falsely convicted of capital crimes. She has a network within prisons who send her the names of the worthy, and then she acts on them. A man is executed and she claims he should not have been. She acts as the judge, jury, and executioner when it comes to vengeance. She decides to take on Brooks, the head of the FBI unit focused on in this series claiming he coerced a confession of the man. Meanwhile, Red continues looking for a dangerous woman. We also get to see that Tom is indeed up to something. He is at the center of things we are only beginning to hear about.

Lance Reddick came as guest actor. I know him from "the wire" series. Great series. Not like this black list:)

I really dont care about cooper's life but they were all worried to save him.
