First of all, I loved the whole series, it started out good and got better and better with each season. However, I firmly think it reached it's climax with this episode. Both the directing and the storyline were amazing with great acting as usual with this show. But most of all it had THE 2 ABSOLUTE FUNNIEST scene of the whole series, I couldn't stop laughing for at least 30 minutes after seeing this episode, I had to drink water, then some alcohol, then smoke a cigarette, go for a walk and start doing pushups in the end so I could stop giggling uncontrollably. Then I went back and watched these scenes over and over for another half day.
The first one is when Ben tries to prank the crew. When he can't do it anymore, backs out and tells what he was planning to do, it was "LITERALLY" the most epic scene in the history of comedies. It was so funny I can't even describe. Adam Scotts performance is just pure gold. I would have given him the EMMY right on the spot for this.
Close second is the final scene showing Ron getting an employee of the month badge and immediately running away and destroying it. The look on his face when burning the pieces just summarizes everything Ron Swanson is and what he thinks of the government. I had my tears going when he dug the small grave for the ashes of the badge right next to the border of Illinois. Huge thumbsup for Nick Offerman with his masterpiece of a role through the whole series and slowly becoming a meme legend for a good reason.
Anyways, if you guys like this show, I think we can agree that this episode is a crown jewel. I give it 10/10.
