While I have seen quite a few WWII documentaries that have talked about the Me-262 and other Nazi jet planes, this one is unusual in that the discussion is part of a larger program--putting it in its proper context. Although this was an amazingly advanced plane and might have been able to change the tide of the war, it came very, very late--so late that the German industrial machine was unable to build it. So, with amoral efficiency, the Nazis created an underground system by which the plane could be produced. The sheer magnitude, waste of human life and insanity of the program is discussed in detail in this particular show.
The bottom line is that "Nazi Mega Weapons" is an outstandingly interesting, innovative and well made series and this particular episode is clearly exceptional as well. Well worth seeing as well as amazingly sad considering the loss of life to create these machines.
