Sex & Nudity

  • A lengthy scene displays explicit full frontal female nudity. Sexualized nude female breasts, bodies & buttocks are also featured with erotica in Strip Clubs.

Violence & Gore

  • Season 2 is more violent than season 1 and 3. One character is murdered with a heavy statue, and you can hear the impact on his skull.
  • A man assaults his brother thinking that he attacked their dad. The scuffle is brief, but intense. Also, a the naked corpse of a burned young girl is shown on a table in a morgue.
  • Pictures of a burned, naked corpse are seen briefly.
  • In the beginning of the episode there is a sequence in which people being burnt alive in a boat, although the action is not actually depicted. Chaos is depicted and from the distance the boat is seen going up in flames. At the end of the episode a burnt corpse is seen floating in the water.
  • A bar fight happens, after which a character has a bloody lip.
  • A man is violently attacked in his garage by an assailant with a baseball bat. There's no blood shown, but the impact is sudden and shocking.
  • In the aftermath of the attack from the previous episode, the victim wakes up injured with a bloody nose and clearly in great pain. Later in the episode, cock fighting is depicted for several minutes, but mostly just in brief glimpses and loud chaotic background noise throughout a scene.
  • A character's neck is snapped.
  • A character is beaten up for information. Later in the episode, a character is drowned.

Profanity

  • Frequent use of "fuck" as well as other casual profanities such as "shit", "damn", "ass", "hell", etc.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Cigarette smoking and alcohol drinking are pretty frequent. Characters use cocaine.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A character is drowning
  • Family dysfunction is very pronounced. Intense arguments and feelings of deep dislike for each other are a central part of the show.
