Lake of Shadows: The Legend of Avocado Lake follows a group of young aspiring film makers as they set out to uncover the truth about a local urban legend at a mysterious lake resort. Lake of Shadows will combine the sub genre of found footage and traditional horror as the team seeks out a legend of a large man eating fish that lives in the lake. Avocado Lake is located in Fresno County, the heart of the Central Valley in California. The lake is known for an unusual high number of unexplained drowning deaths. Stories have been told over the years surrounding these deaths and what lurks below. Many local residents believe the lake is haunted.

The Horror Channel has an Easter treat for fans of Hammer films, as their UK-only Hammer-thon will air March 26th and 27th.
