Influencer marketing agency Billion Dollar Boy is launching a new membership community that’s “dedicated to empowering emerging creators in the business of being a creator.”
The community, called FiveTwoNine, will have both online and offline components, including a flagship space in London. That space will soon open for a four-month pilot phase where, in partnership with FiveTwoNine’s founding brand partner, Lipton, and six founding creators/creator brands (more on them in a sec), it’ll offer free access to amenities like soundproofed recording rooms, a podcast studio, and meeting spaces.
After the four-month pilot period, access to the London space–and any other future brick-and-morter spaces–will be priced on a tiered basis, “which will be introduced at flexible rates determined by the depth of resources and masterclasses creators wish to access,” Billion Dollar Boy says.
FiveTwoNine’s online component launches this fall, and will operate on a similar tiered pricing structure.

Camping in battle royale titles is a huge headache for the players. Call of Duty: Warzone is not an exception either. To minimize camping in the game, Activision has taken several steps as well. Like the Bunker Buster killstreak in the Season 2 Reloaded update which has literally made it impossible for players to camp inside tall buildings.
Another annoying camping spot is the water towers on Rebirth Island. Since Verdansk, this is the map players have liked so much. But camping in that high position was ruining the game completely. That’s why a new update is on its way to make life harder for the campers in Warzone.

Combining two popular themes, an author struggling with writer’s block and AI run amuck, Blank is the story of Claire Rivers who can’t seem to put words on paper even as the bills pile up and the calls from her agent become more frantic. Finally, facing a one month deadline to either produce a book or lose her publishing deal she decides to spend that time at The Retreat, a high tech facility for the creatively blocked.
Her room comes complete with a holographic concierge named Henry and Rita an android assistant. There’s also a weird little device for Claire to attach to her head in order to stimulate her creativity. It doesn’t seem to help though as we mostly see her drinking wine and falling asleep in front of the TV.

The cast and crew of Yorgos Lanthimos’ Poor Things made their way onto one final red carpet ahead of the film’s theatrical release.
Stars Emma Stone, Mark Ruffalo, Willem Dafoe, Ramy Youssef, Margaret Qualley and Kathryn Hunter, among others, joined Lanthimos and screenwriter Tony McNamara for the New York City premiere of the film Wednesday night.
Ruffalo expressed that working with Stone, Lanthimos and the rest of the Poor Things team was like a “dream come true for him,” due partially to his character, Duncan Wedderburn.
“He gets to say the most outrageous, foul, really poetic things than probably any man in the last 20 years of cinema and do it with panache and charm and total gracelessness,” the actor told The Hollywood Reporter. “I was really into the idea of doing physical comedy and then working, of course, with Emma and this cast.”

Duff McKagan released his third solo album, Lighthouse, on Friday (October 20th), and the Guns N’ Roses bassist has unveiled a music video for the song “I Just Don’t Know” featuring Jerry Cantrell of Alice in Chains.
The plaintive and honest clip sees McKagan and Cantrell playing the acoustic-based track under a massive strobe light that changes based on the mood of the music. Cantrell also contributes a guitar solo and backing vocals to the track.
Lyrically, it’s McKagan at his most sincere and personal, his voice dominant amongst the chiming acoustics — for which Cantrell is a perfect fit. The collab also sees Cantrell reciprocating McKagan’s contribution to the the former’s 2021 solo album, Brighten.
As for Lighthouse, McKagan began work on the project after opening his own Seattle recording studio in 2019. In a press release, he said that the studio allowed him to “finally explore songs...

Kelly Clarkson took a break from singing Kellyoke in the daytime hours to visit The Tonight Show, where she performed “Lighthouse,” played a game of “Back That Track Up,” and sat down with Jimmy Fallon for an interview.
As musical guest, Clarkson took the stage to deliver her Chemistry ballad “Lighthouse,” with the singer accompanied only by a pianist, cellist and backup vocalist.
Clarkson also joined Fallon to play a new game called “Back That Track Up,” where the two tried guess hit songs that are played backward. Clarkson, to put it nicely,...

In the midst of Kelly Clarkson’s divorce, she had a revelation. Contrary to the meaning of her 2015 ballad “Piece by Piece,” which praised her talent-manager ex-husband Brandon Blackstock for restoring her faith in men after her father deserted her as a child, the pop singer realized that no one could truly heal her but herself. “It’s almost too much to put on someone to do that for you, you have to do that yourself,” the pop singer admitted on her talk show in 2020. Said revelation appears on Clarkson’s wistful new song,...

Duff McKagan has announced his third solo album, Lighthouse, due October 20th. In advance of its release, the Guns N’ Roses bassist has unveiled the title track.
The 11-song effort ends with three tracks boasting notable guest musicians: “Hope,” featuring McKagan’s Gn’R bandmate Slash; “I Just Don’t Know,” featuring Alice in Chains’ Jerry Cantrell; and “Lighthouse (Reprise)” featuring punk godfather Iggy Pop.
On the title track, McKagan sounds like a punk-rock Bob Dylan as he sings the initial verses over an acoustic guitar line for the first minute or so of the tune. From there, the song kicks in with multi-track vocals and pounding drums for the soaring chorus.
McKagan says of the new album and its theme, “The crashing…. the cresting waves, the falling through of all that surrounds you. Life sometimes tosses us around, and we feel the want of comfort and the pull of home.

Guns N’ Roses’ bassist, Duff McKagan, wants your guiding light on “Lighthouse,” the gentle title track from his upcoming solo album. “Won’t you be my lighthouse?” he sings over a gospel backdrop of organ and backup vocalists. “Give me sight and lead me on/Oh, shine on me, my lighthouse/And dry my aching bones.” The music then shifts gears and becomes more uplifting as McKagan leads a choir singing “Shine, shine, shine,” building bigger and bigger. The full album will shine its light on Oct. 20.

Kelly Clarkson doubled up for her first release of original music in six years. Ahead of her forthcoming album Chemistry, set for release on June 23, the singer has introduced the record with two separate outlooks on two different songs, “Me” and “Mine.”
“We decided to release ‘mine’ and ‘me’ at the same time because I didn’t want to release just one song to represent an entire album, or relationship,” Clarkson explained in a statement. “There are many stages of grief and loss on this album. Each song is a different stage and emotional state.

In my many years of seeing live music, few sights were as dispiriting as the first time I saw David Crosby up close. In the early Eighties, he played a solo show at New York’s Town Hall. Walking onstage, looking a little overweight, unkempt and shaggy in an untucked shirt and baggy pants, he plopped down on a wooden chair. His voice was a bit raspier than we’d heard on his records, and the blissed-out smiles and stage patter he was known for were Mia. At one point,...

Lifetime has green-lit an unauthorized 90210 tell-all film, The Hollywood Reporter writes. The movie will be in the same vein as the network's 2014 Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story and forthcoming Full House project. Jeff Roda (Love Liza) is writing for helmer Vanessa Parise (PopFan), and will pen a script that promises to reveal the stress behind the series' up-and-down first four seasons, the reason it became a pop-culture powerhouse, and the drama that shook the show's personnel. (Yep, get ready for some juice from the real Peach Pit, because nothing is sacred.) The news comes a few months before 90210's 25th anniversary; the TV-movie's air date has not been confirmed, though.
